‘The jokes really do write themselves’ say fans as Tottenham Stadium set to host Catfish and the Bottlemen concert

Popular band also playing another mega arena in UK

FANS declared “the jokes really do write themselves” after a Catfish and Bottlemen concert was announced at Tottenham Stadium.

The popular Welsh indie band have revealed they will headline several stadium shows next summer.

Their first stop will take them to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on August 1, 2025.

And two days later the band will play Tottenham’s glittering arena in north London ahead of the new Premier League season.

However, some fans could not resist taking a cheeky dig at Spurs.

The club’s last win came in the 2008 Carabao Cup when they beat rivals Chelsea 2-1.

Since then, Tottenham have missed out on numerous chances to win silverware.

They finished second in the 2016/17 Premier League season, and blew the chance to close down Leicester the year before that.

In 2019 Spurs were beaten by Liverpool in the Champions League final.

And their last opportunity to win a trophy came in the 2021 Carabao Cup final, with Daniel Levy sacking Jose Mourinho just days before the defeat to Man City.
