RAGING Chelsea fans have demanded a petition after the Premier League unveiled all 20 clubs’ goal animations for the new season.
The top-flight campaign kicked off last weekend, starting with Manchester United’s late win over Fulham.
Liverpool and Arsenal both picked up impressive wins, while Tottenham were held to a shock draw by Leicester.
The final ‘Big Six’ result saw Chelsea lose 2-0 at home to Manchester City.
It meant that Blues fans were not treated to the sight of their new goal animation - which appears on the score graphic in the top left hand corner of TV screens when a goal goes in - after failing to get past Ederson.
But the Premier League has now "unlocked" the goal animations for every club to put supporters’ minds at ease.

Each team has their own customised pattern when the ball hits the back of the opponent’s net.
Arsenal’s one shows a cannon firing a plume of smoke, while Brighton’s has a seagull swooping across the scoreline.
Other funky ones include a blue moon appearing for Man City.
While Southampton’s has the word ‘Goal’ decorated with angel wings and a halo in a nod to their nickname The Saints.

Chelsea’s however, was a little less imaginative and fans were not impressed.
Instead of showing anything customised, it simply just read ‘Goal’ in plain text.
Closer inspection appears to show the word is on a flag being hoisted — a nod to the tune ‘Keep the Blue Flag Flying High’.
But supporters were not happy and took to X demanding a petition for a fresh animation.
One said: “Why is ours so basic?”
Another declared: “Are we the only club not to get a custom one? Ours is tragic.”
One noted: “Chelsea’s is the worst. So basic… just a flag.”
Another added: “Petition to get the Premier League to make a new and better goal animation for Chelsea.”
