PAIGE SPIRANAC is returning to golf after eight years away as she prepares to take part in The Creator Classic.
The inaugural edition of the event will see “16 of the most successful and skilled golf creators take on the newly restored East Lake Golf Club”.
It will take place on August 28 on the eve of the Tour Championship which is happening at the same golf club in Atlanta, Georgia.
American Paige, 31, turned professional in 2015 and spent the 2016 season on the PGA Tour.
She won one tour event but earned just $8,010 (£6,000) in winnings across the season, leading her to leave pro golf to become an influencer in the sport.
Now she has confirmed she is returning for the first time since she was on the pro tour.
Speaking on , she said: “It’s the week of The Creator Classic!
“Although nervous to play competitive stroke play again (it’s been 8 years) I’m excited for this amazing opportunity!
“The goal is to have fun 😌.”
Paige has built up a huge following on social media in recent years.

Last month, Paige demonstrated her golf skills by giving fans with larger chests a mind-blowing hack.
The ace demonstrated her swing in slow motion to show how she hits the ball with great force.
Paige said: “I’ve been doing these slow mo videos and in all seriousness it’s wild seeing what my chest has to do through the swing so my arms can clear lol.
“I can totally understand why women with larger chests who pick up the game feel stuck and uncomfortable.
“My tip is under on the right arm and over the chest on the left at set up. Also stand a little farther away from the ball!”
