Cristiano Ronaldo reveals bizarre thing that ‘turns him on’ during live Champions League draw
Ronnie was joined on stage by another football legend
CRISTIANO RONALDO revealed the bizarre thing that “turns him on” during last night’s Champions League draw.
The legendary striker was present at the event in Monaco to help decide the competition’s new group stage format.
But Ronaldo was also gifted a special award to recognise his status as the Champions League’s all-time leading goalscorer.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus superstar netted 140 goals in the competition before departing for Saudi Arabia 18 months ago.
And he was all smiles as he was given his sparkling trophy in front of a star-studded room.
After getting the prize, Ronaldo was asked whether or not he’d still like to be playing Champions League football.
And when fellow draw helper Gianluigi Buffon, who retired from the beautiful game a year ago, declared “Yes, for sure”, Ronaldo also had his say.
But in doing so, he let slip that the Champions League music always left him “turned on.”
Ronaldo said: “The same. Always special, when you hear the music.
“I said before, it turns you on. It’s fantastic.”

Ronaldo then added: Ronaldo continued: “The record speaks for itself, but I mean the pleasure to play in the competition.
“It’s our motivation. When you listen, the music, you’re turning on.
“It’s crazy and for me it was special because I win so many times.”
Ronaldo went on to help Uefa chiefs draw the group stage for this season’s competition.
But the ace’s role was so mundane that he appeared to be bored!
All Ronaldo was tasked with was pressing a button after a ball had been drawn.
And fans were left giggling at his vacant expression.
One said: “Ronaldo is killing me, he’s so so bored.”
Another declared: “Ronaldo is SO bored of standing there pressing the same button every 2 minutes.”
