WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin shared a hilarious video of him spectacularly failing to drink a beer during a massive gale.

, 59, is considered by many as the greatest professional wrestler of all time following his immense success in the popular Attitude Era during the early 2000s.

The Texas Rattlesnake retired in 2003 and has since been making non-wrestling appearances, with the exception of a one-off match against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38 two years ago.

The heavyweight's in-ring character is famous for his beer-drinking antics as he would smash two cans together and down them after beating his opponents with his famous Stunner finisher.

And so the ex-Intercontinental Champion went out for a stroll during the heavy winds and cracked open a cold one.

Austin said: "Pretty good wind storm going on here tonight."

However, the winds were so strong that not a single drop of his beer made it to his mouth.

Instead, the whole content ended up falling over his left shoulder and on to the asphalt.

To make matters worse, the wind went on to blow the famous brawler's cap off.

WWE fans were left in stitches as they stormed social media after enjoying that nostalgia act.

One wrestling enthusiast tweeted: "Oh hell yeahhhhh!"

Another posted: "That is freaking serious!"

Another commented: "Crazy, I'm Soo doing this next time!"

This fan said: "That wind must’ve been insane! Even Stone Cold can’t handle that!";

And a further admirer stated: "Alright, how the hell do I get a gif of this."
