  • Conor Benn wants Eubank fight next

Conor Benn unleashed an expletive-laden rant at Chris Eubank Jr and shoved him in the chest during a heated confrontation in Saudi Arabia.

The two were originally scheduled to face off in October 2022, marking 30 years since their fathers, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr, clashed in the ring. However, the fight was called off after Benn tested positive for banned substances in two voluntary drug tests.

Now Conor Benn has challenged Chris Eubank Jr, writing on X: “Let’s settle this once and for all.”

Eubank is next no more talking let’s settle this once and for all 😤

  • Eubank's post-fight thoughts…

On how he felt his performance was? “I was having fun in there, could’ve finished it in the first-round but needed to feel the energy of the Saudi crowd, it was beautiful! Had fun and that was the main thing, to work on things… got a big fight coming up next.”

His uppercut tendencies: “Kamil’s a tough guy, certain people get hurt and look for a way out, knew body shots would take him out and worked on things with my new coach Johnathon Banks.”

Says the partnership between them went beautifully for their debut together, Banks most notably was previously Golovkin’s trainer.

  • Break of protocol

Artur Beterbiev's huge showdown with Dmitry Bivol had an unpredictable start – even before the unbeaten kings got inside the ring.

There was a surprise break from protocol moments ahead of the winner-takes-all light-heavyweight humdinger in Riyadh.

Three-belt champion Beterbiev was the man chosen to walk out first.

Normally whoever is first out into the arena has the same honour when it comes to getting in the ring.

But this time an announcement revealed the opposite would happen – with Bivol stepping in before his opponent.

  • Eubank Jr’s past

Chris Eubank Jr says he was once a gang enforcer on the streets by day before returning home at night to a £1million mansion.

Eubank Jr told rapper Castillo for : “I don’t know how it happened, but I was a street kid.

“I was a road man that was going home to a £1million mansion every night. It doesn’t make sense.

“It doesn’t make sense but that video in the car park, I was doing that every other week I was in a scrap like that. I was an enforcer in a gang in Brighton.

“At 15, 16-years-old everybody’s doing stupid s***. It’s just what you had to deal with or what you are as a kid. You don’t know better.

“That’s one of the reasons why I ended up moving to Las Vegas to get away from that scene, to get away from that lifestyle.”

  • Jack Massey vs Jai Opetaia

Jack Massey's hopes of claiming a world title were dashed by beer-loving Australian cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia.

The fighter from Cheshire took a shot at the IBF title, but the relentless 29-year-old champion—who boasted to SunSport during fight week about his love for both boxing and beers—proved to be too much for him, ultimately winning in the sixth round.

Trainer Joe Gallagher wisely decided to throw in the towel when it became clear that Massey was at risk of serious injury.

Opetaia spoke after the fight and offered his respect to Massey.

He said: "I felt good, nothing but respect to Jack and his family, big thanks to my family too.

"We jumped through some hurdles to get here, so many ups and downs but we stayed strong and together... the ins and outs of boxing."

  • Joshua vs Dubois II date reveal

The proposed date for the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois rematch has been announced.

Last month, 27-year-old Dubois shocked AJ in their fight at Wembley.

And that ensured he kept hold of his IBF world title and wrecked Joshua's dream of a spring blockbuster showdown with Tyson Fury.

But AJ looks set to get a shot at revenge with a repeat of the all-British dust-up next year.

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh has now revealed that the plan is for Joshua vs Dubois 2 to take place on February 22, 2025.

  • Artur Beterbiev's rise

Artur Beterbiev's ascent in the boxing world is grounded in the resilience and sacrifices of his family, particularly his parents.

His father, Gasan Beterbiev, worked as a bus driver to support their large family under challenging circumstances. Gasan's death in a car accident in 2001, when Artur was 16, had a significant impact on the young boxer.

While little is publicly known about Artur's mother, she worked as a nurse and became a single parent in a war-torn region, raising six children.

After Gasan's passing, she encouraged Artur to pursue an invitation to attend an Olympic boxing college in Moscow, supporting his ambitions despite the difficulties they faced.

  • Fans speculate over "rigged" spectacle

Fans have criticised Artur Beterbiev's controversial victory over Dmitry Bivol, labelling it "rigged" after noticing who was seated ringside.

Beterbiev secured the title of undisputed light-heavyweight champion with a majority decision win over his fellow Russian.

Conspiracy theorists believe they have figured out why Beterbiev was awarded the win.

Eagle-eyed supporters noticed that Ramzan Kadyrov was in the ring when the 39-year-old was announced as champion.

He is seen congratulating Beterbiev and posing for a photo with his arm around him.

Kadyrov is currently the head of the Chechen Republic.

  • Neymar's surprise appearance

Neymar had fans in fits of laughter after he unexpectedly appeared in the ring behind Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn during their tense face-off.

The boxing rivals squared off following Eubank's seventh-round knockout victory over Kamil Szeremeta, with Benn later entering the ring to confront him.

Amid the heated exchange, football star Neymar surprised fans by appearing in the background.

Eubank was seen putting his hand on the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain stars shoulder and saying: "This is my boy, we're coming for you."

Benn then replied in Spanish, with Eubank asking Neymar to translate before he whispered in his ear.

  • Clarke's surgery confirmed

Frazer Clarke is set to undergo surgery to repair his jaw and cheekbone after suffering a brutal first-round knockout at the hands of Fabio Wardley during their rematch in Saudi Arabia last night.

huge hit from Wardley crashed into Clarke's jaw, seemingly putting it out of place, while there was a sizeable dent in the side of his head.

Big Fraze was tended to by medics inside the ring once it was waved off by the referee and he was rushed to hospital.

Frank Warren later confirmed the beaten fighter had suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone.
