Mr Olympia 2024 live stream and TV guide: How to watch huge bodybuilding show this weekend

MR OLYMPIA returns to the big screens THIS weekend for its 60th anniversary - and there is only one way to watch the iconic competition.

American ace Derek Lunsford put on a real show last year before lifting the 2023 title.

The bodybuilding star pipped former champion Hadi Choopan from winning a second successive crown while Nigerian-born Brit Samson Dauda took home the bronze medal.

As usual, there'll be a variety of different challenges for the contestants to navigate their way around.

And other events such as the Men's 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Women's Bodybuilding, Bikini, Fitness and Wheelchair will all be competed for.

But one thing that hasn't changed is how fans can watch each spectacle as it unfolds.

When is Mr Olympia 2024?

• Mr Olympia 2024 will get underway Tuesday, October 8 before concluding on Sunday, October 13.
• Resorts World in Las Vegas is the chosen venue for this highly-anticipated competition.

How will bodybuilding be scored at Mr Olympia 2024?

Judges will score competitors according to the ‘total package,’ which is a balance of size, symmetry, and muscularity.

The IFBB Pro League has developed a scoring system based on averages. Typically, seven judges rank the competitors.

However, to achieve what the IFBB deems a fair average, each competitor’s highest and lowest scores are dropped. 

In the Mr. Olympia, competitors are ranked from one through 15 and everyone outside of 15th place is in 16th place. The lowest score is equal to the highest ranking in bodybuilding, so the competitor with the lowest overall score wins.
