Arsenal Wenger confirms Mesut Ozil is out of West Brom game with a hamstring injury as midfielder could miss Germany’s clash with England
The midfielder's injury could see him forced out of playing for Germany during international week
MESUT OZIL has been ruled out of the Arsenal's clash with West Brom with a hamstring injury.
And the German midfielder could also miss his country's international friendly with England on Wednesday.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger told Sky Sports: "He had a hamstring problem yesterday in training and he’s been in for treatment. It’s not a bad one but not good enough for him to travel".
Ozil's absence was also announced on Twitter just moments after the rumours surfaced.
Ozil had missed Arsenal's Premier League defeat against Liverpool through illness but made a comeback as a substitute against Bayern Munich and Lincoln City.
