KYREN WILSON won his second ranking tournament title of the season after a dominant performance against Judd Trump.
The reigning world champion took a dominant 7-1 lead into the final session in Belfast after blitzing Trump in the afternoon.
World No 1 Trump mounted a spirited comeback - winning the first frame of the evening session the before equalling the tournament high break with a superb 143 - but Wilson won the two frames he needed to take home the £100,000 top prize.

Reminder of why Ronnie's absent
Remember - Ronnie O’Sullivan pulled out of the Northern Ireland Open.
Fans were gutted when the the seven-time world champion withdrew on medical grounds.
O’Sullivan‘s withdrawal marks the third straight tournament he has missed out on.
It comes after he sat out the British Open and the Wuhan Open.
The Rocket had lost three previous Northern Ireland Open finals to Judd Trump between 2018 and 2020.

Scottish prodigy Sophie Nix, 16, has earned a spot at the 2024 Snooker Shoot Out at Leicester in December.
Nix joined the World Women’s Snooker Tour at just 13 and took her first Under-21 title aged 15.
Now she's one of eight World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association amateurs to qualify for Shoot Out.
Nix is already ranked World No1 in women's U-21 snooker.
She can showcase her huge potential at Leicester's Mattioli Arena from December 4-7.

Judd Trump believes Kyren Wilson's walk is a tell-tale sign he feels like the world champion he is.

And even before the Crucible king, 32, built up that extra reason to show confidence, the 35-year-old reckons his opponent has been displaying the signs of his new global stature.
Trump said: “I think you can see it, the way he walks round the table.
“It is nice to see someone win the World Championship for the first time and go away and work at it and walk around with the swag.”

Kyren Wilson's return to his world-title winning form amid his best year ever has been explained by Judd Trump.
The 2019 Crucible king believes speed and enjoyment could be the keys to Wilson's rise.
Trump told Eurosport: “I think he has improved a lot.
“From where he was a couple of years ago, he has gone to a different level.
“I think he is playing much faster and that has helped him tremendously, as he was very methodical before.
"And now he actually looks like he is enjoying what he is doing.”

Bristolian Trump, 35, is three years older than Kettering cuer Wilson, who leads him 7-1 in the Northern Ireland Open final.
He told Eurosport ahead of the showpiece: “Over the next 10 years with my hunger and his hunger I think we are going to be meeting a lot of times.”
Trump added: "It is nice for me to have someone pushing me who is doing their absolute all to really go away and practice every single time.
"It's nice to have that rivalry when you get to the top.
“Me and him are both really enjoying it.”

But he achieved something far more important to him.
