Bournemouth vs Man City preview

Champions Manchester City make the 250-mile journey to the Vitality Stadium for Saturday's top-flight encounter.

And on paper it looks as though the trip will be well worth it for Pep Guardiola's side.

They are top of the standings after nine fixtures and have won all 14 Premier League meetings against the Cherries by an aggregate score of 48-6.

Score draw…

Perhaps it's naive but I think Bournemouth will end their run of 14-straight Premier League defeats to Manchester City this weekend.

They've never had a better opportunity with Pep Guardiola's side stretched to the bare bones, talisman Erling Haaland not firing and the fact they've managed just two clean sheets in the league this season.

As mentioned, the Cherries rank third for most efforts on goal this season and have the pace to cause City more than a few headaches on the break -- scoring in all but one of their home games this term.

  • Match Result and Both Teams To Score - Draw at 9/2 with William Hill -

Booked

No side has committed more fouls in the Premier League than Bournemouth this season. They've committed 126 fouls - and midfielder Lewis Cook can account for 15% of those.
