Punters thrilled as ‘fantastic’ Bryony Frost back with old boss Paul Nicholls for big British comeback on Friday
The fan favourite has not ridden this side of the Pond in months
BRYONY Frost will be back riding for her old boss Paul Nicholls in the big Grade 2 Hanlon Chase at Exeter on Friday.
Frost, 29, spent the summer riding in France and has not ridden in Britain since August 22.

But she's got two rides on Friday, first on board the Ditcheat gaffer's Sans Bruit, and another on Asian Spice, trained by her father Jimmy Frost in the mares handicap hurdle.
She's already tasted success with Sans Bruit in the Red Rum Chase at this year's Aintree Festival, but shortly after the big win she packed her bags and de-camped to France.

She bagged the job of retained jockey for top owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede of 'team Double Green' fame, and has ridden six winners since she arrived in May.
A broken collarbone saw her on the sidelines for a brief spell, but aside from that the trip has been a success, and most likely a reset for her too.

In the years leading up to the move, Frost endured more than her fair share of turbulence in the workplace.
She was at the centre of a horrendous bullying row with fellow weighing room jockey Robbie Dunne and suffered a brutal back injury at the Grand National meeting in October 2022.
She also went through a break-up with fellow high-profile jockey Patrick Mullins, son of legendary Irish handler Willie.
Better news came in the shape of a Grade 2 win aboard the Paul Nicholls-trained Knappers Hill at Sandown in April 2023.

But amid a drying up of rides, she had to wait another year to get her next top level success - that devastating victory aboard Sans Bruit in the Red Rum Chase at Aintree.
Victory was worth more than £50,000 but her mind was already made up.
Frost, after years of success here and more than £2million in prize money, was France-bound.
There has now been an outpouring of support for Frost on X, formerly known as Twitter, with punters delighted to see her back in the saddle.
One said: "It is FANTASTIC to see Bryony Frost back riding in the UK."
Another commented: "Lovely girl she is it was disgusting how she was treated."
One added: "I hope she wins."
