Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson broadcast team revealed with Kate Abdo fronting star-studded Netflix line-up
The event is Netflix's first foray into live sports
KATE ABDO fronts the broadcast team for Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson on Netflix.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul faces heavyweight icon Tyson next Friday in a clash criticised for the huge age gap.
It will marks Netflix’s first foray into live sports and the streaming services’ team for the event has been announced.
Abdo – who recently married retired boxer and now trainer Malik Scott – is the lead host joined by unbeaten legend Andre Ward.
The former Sky Sports presenter has hosted several boxing events for Fox, Showtime and DAZN.
The ringside play-by-play commentary will be led by Mauro Ranallo, supported by boxing great Roy Jones Jr and Hollywood’s Rosie Perez.
Jones was actually the last man to share the ring with Tyson in their 2020 exhibition which was drawn over eight rounds.
Commentator Sean Wheelock serves as the rules and scoring expert while Ariel Helwani and Sibley Scoles are reporters.
The in-ring announcing will provided by Kody “Big Mo” Mommaerts.
And Tyson’s son Amir will co-lead the preliminary card reporting with TV personality Sibley Scoles.
