How old is Judy Murray?

Judy Murray was born in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire, on September 8, 1959, making her 59 years old.

Her parents were Roy Erskine, an optician and former Stirling Albion footballer, and his wife Eileen Shirley.

After an exceptional junior tennis career, Judy Murray went to Edinburgh University to study French and German, before switching to business studies.

In 1980 she married Andy Murray’s dad, William, but the pair were divorced in 2005.

What is Judy Murray’s profession?

Judy Murray is a professional tennis coach.

As a player she won 64 junior and senior titles and briefly joined the professional tour.

But despite being quick around the court and reading the game well, she did not have the power on her shots to make it as a pro.

As well as sons Andy and Jamie, she has coached numerous British players, working for the LTA.

In 2011 she took over as the Great Britain Federation Cup captain, before resigning last year.

What TV appearances has Judy Murray made?

Judy Murray appeared as a guest judge on the Great British Menu as contestants battled it out to create three spectacular Wimbledon themed courses.

She also appeared on the 12th Series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.

She made it into week eight before being eliminated after dancing a Viennese Waltz to ‘Let’s Go Fly A Kite’.

In March 2017, she appeared on the first episode of All Round to Mrs Brown’s on BBC One alongside the likes of Pamela Anderson and Louis Walsh.
