MANCHESTER CITY fans were left furious after the club posted a "highlights" video of Saturday's humiliating 4-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The reigning Premier League champions suffered their fifth straight loss at the hands of Ange Postecoglou and his team at the weekend.

James Maddison broke the deadlock after just 13 minutes and quickly went on to score a second.

Pedro Porro then made it three at the start of the second half.

And Brennan Johnson sealed the victory with a strike in added time.

The result left City second in the Premier League table, just one point ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal and Brighton.

Just a few hours after full-time, City shared a "highlights" video on social media.

The clip understandably left supporters furious, with one person writing: "I hate this admin man. You should be sacked."

Another said: "Thanks for ruining our weekend with this clip."

A third wrote: "You’re not serious."
