World Darts Championship prize money: How much can Luke Littler and Co win – and how much for a nine-darter?
Someone is set to start the new year with a ton of money
THE World Darts Championship is into its final two days - but there is still hundreds of thousands of pounds still to fight for.
Luke Littler remains favourite for the tournament but faces still competition with the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price still fighting for the title.

Last year's champion, Luke Humphries, suffered a shock defeat to Wright at the last-16 stage and will be unable to bank another cheque for the top £500,000 prize.
The World No 1 gives up not only that mega prize but the highly coveted trophy.
As well as Littler and three former champions, fans favourites Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall are still in with a chance as is Chris Dobey and unseeded Callan Rydz.

What is the World Darts Championship prize money?
The total prize pot for the 2024/25 World Darts Championship is a mouthwatering £2.5 million!
And the winner will take home £500,000 of the pot just like Luke Humphries did for the 2023/24 tournament.
In addition to that, Paddy Power will pay players a whopping £60,000 for every nine-dart finish they secure - with further cash going to a lucky punter and charity.

How to watch
- The 2024/25 World Darts Championship will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports in the UK.
- Fans in the UK can stream the entire action on NOW TV.
- Matches are also available to watch on PDCTV or their worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay.
- The quarter-finals has an afternoon (12.30pm) and evening session (7pm) but the semis and final only has evening sessions.
- Alternatively, follow all the action with SunSport's live rolling blog throughout the tournament.
Paddy Power nine-darter rules
The players are not the only ones who earn a huge bonus should they hit a nine-darter.
Players will earn a mega £60,000 bonus should they hit the hallowed checkout at Alexandra Palace.
But fans in the crowd will be willing players on even more than usual with one lucky punter also earning £60,000 should one be hit.
The lucky winner will be drawn at random from the crowd inside the venue.

A further £60,000 will also be sent to Prostate Cancer UK, the official charity partner of the tournament.
Paddy Power will also donate £1,000 to charity for every 180 hit managed, with the current total standing at around £800,000 as of the last 16.
So far, two nine-darters have been managed in this year's tournament.
World No 102 Christian Kist was the unlikely star to manage one, hitting it against Madars Razma in the first round.
Kist, 38, TREBLED his yearly earnings in that one trip to the oche, having only banked £27,250 in the rest of 2024.
Fan favourite Damon Heta then managed one in his third-round clash with Luke Woodhouse.
Despite their heroics, BOTH players went on to lose those matches and crash out of the tournament.

The 'Curse of Ally Pally' has now seen four of the last five players who hit nine-darters lose.
The one exception was Michael Smith, who incredibly scored one on his way to winning the world title in 2023.
