SKY SPORTS were hit with a major technical error during their coverage of Chelsea v Aston Villa as they were forced to commentate from their pre-game studio in Liverpool.
The broadcaster experienced technical difficulties which meant their commentary team at Stamford Bridge of lead commentator Bill Leslie and pundit Alan Smith were not being heard.
Consequently those in the studio before the game were forced to provide impromptu commentary in the opening minutes.
This included presenter David Jones and pundits including Roy Keane, Micah Richards and Daniel Sturridge.
Jones apologised for the issues shortly after kick-off.
He said: "Well unfortunately we have a few technical and audio issues which you can hear at Stamford Bridge or not hear more to the point.
