Jamie Carragher tells Mo Salah ‘I’ll meet you in the car park’ as he mocks Roy Keane live on Sky Sports
Carragher hit back with a cheeky tweet too
JAMIE CARRAGHER mocked Roy Keane as he joked for Mo Salah to meet him in the car park after Liverpool’s win over Manchester City.
Salah produced a goal and an assist to sink the champions to a sixth defeat in seven matches.
After the match he spoke to Sky Sports and was awarded the Man of the Match prize.
Salah asked who decided he was worthy of the award, and he was told Gary Neville was responsible.
He joked Carragher would not have nominated him after the pundit branded Salah “selfish” over a recent interview.
Carragher responded to Salah’s jibe, saying: “I’ll see him in the car park.”
That sparked laughter from his colleagues in the studio as Keane allowed himself a wry smile.
Just last week Keane was involved in a fiery confrontation with an Ipswich fan at Portman Road as he stood pitchside.
The former Ipswich boss told the supporter “I’ll wait for you in the car park” and went face-to-face with his taunter.
Salah, 32, hit back at Carragher after Virgil van Dijk quipped: “I’m surprised Carragher wouldn’t give it to you.”

A smiling Salah replied: “Ah no, he [Carragher] wouldn’t give it to me. Never. He wouldn’t! I don’t want to talk about this!”
Carragher also replied on X, saying: “I would’ve give it to Van Dijk to be fair!”
Salah’s comments come after Carragher criticised him for saying he was “more out than in” after not being offered a new contract by Liverpool.
Carragher said on Monday Night Football: “Of course, there’s been discussions. Right now, there’s obviously a big difference in valuation, how Salah and his agent value themselves, in terms of length of contract, and how Liverpool do.
“So the reason Liverpool wouldn’t have offered a contract yet is because Mo Salah will turn it down.
“They’re still in talks, I’m desperate for them to meet in the middle.
“But I must say, I am very disappointed with Mo Salah. That interview last night…
“Liverpool have Real Madrid in midweek and Manchester City next weekend. That’s the story for Liverpool right now.
“And Mo Salah, we’re aware – certainly the local reporters near the club – that in seven years he’s stopped in the mixed zone twice.
“That’s absolutely fine.
“But he stops for the third time away at Southampton on the back of winning Liverpool the game and putting that out.
“If he continues to put comments out or his agent continues to put cryptic tweets out, that is selfish.
“That’s thinking about themselves and not the football club.”
