Bournemouth star copies viral meme as celebration explained after breaking club record to pile pressure on Postecoglou
Postecoglou engaged in a tense exchange with a Spurs fan after the game
BOURNEMOUTH star Dean Huijsen recreated a viral meme as he celebrated his goal against Tottenham last night.
The Cherries defeated Spurs 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium courtesy of Huijsen’s first-half header.
After nodding home Marcus Tavernier‘s corner, Huijsen mimicked the “chill guy” meme that has swept social media in recent days.
Wearing a calm smile, the defender tucked his hands into his shorts as if they had pockets as he faced delirious supporters.
Huijsen’s goal made him Bournemouth‘s youngest-ever Premier League goalscorer at 19 years and 235 days old.
The summer signing from Juventus was starting in place of injured Marco Senesi and could keep his spot for Sunday’s trip to Ipswich.
While Cherries boss Andoni Iraola was overjoyed at his side’s display, Ange Postecoglou felt heat from the travelling Tottenham supporters.
After the game the Aussie appeared to speak to a fan during a tense exchange, as supporters booed him.
Lifting the lid on the incident, Postecoglou, 59, said: “They’re disappointed and rightly so and they gave me some direct feedback, which is taken on board.
“I didn’t like what was being said because I’m a human being but you’ve got to cop it.

“I’ve been around long enough to know when things don’t go well you’ve got to understand the frustration and disappointment.
“And they’re rightly disappointed because we let a game of football get away from us. But that’s OK. I’m OK with all that.
“All I can say is I’m really disappointed (with the performance) and I’m determined to get it right and will keep fighting until we do.”
Spurs will return to action on Sunday with a tricky London derby against Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
