That was the most bonkers Ange Postecoglou game since… Thursday.
Following up the madness of the 4-3 midweek win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup, Big Ange’s injury-hit side were completely outclassed here.
Liverpool looked like champions in waiting and the 3-6 scoreline flattered the hosts, because Arne Slot’s side could and should have had another two or three.
Spurs fans remained behind their team to their credit and even sang Postecoglou’s name.
But this was a reminder of how far off it they are in the Aussie’s search to turn them into regular title contenders.
While Liverpool, from whom Dominik Szoboszlai was the standout performer in a breathtaking attacking team display, look untouchable.
Egyptian King breaking records
Mohamed Salah became the first player to have double figures goals and assists before Christmas.
The Egyptian forward also became the clubs fourth highest goalscorer in their history.
You wonder what more he needs to do to get that new contract.
Boss continues to impress

Arne Slot came in and showed that in fact the complete opposite was to be the case.
His Liverpool team now sit four points clear at the top of the Premier League table on a weekend where defending champions Man City suffered another defeat.
