Welsh Grand National 2024 horse numbers – full list of runners and riders for HUGE race at Chepstow
ALL eyes are looking ahead to Chepstow for what stands to be a thrilling Welsh Grand National.
Nassalam powered home to a muddy victory last year, with the 9/2 joint favourite romping to home by a whopping 34 lengths.
Though this year Nassalam will not be in the running, having been pulled up in three of his four races since.
Josh Moore, who trains Nassalam alongside his father Gary, said that Chepstow is "out of the picture" this year.
Moore said: “He won’t be going to Chepstow, he missed too much work so that’s out of the picture for him now.
"Hopefully he’ll be back for the Grand National Trial in February at Haydock.”
