Tragedy as cricketer collapses on field and dies after suffering heart attack mid-match
A CRICKETER died after suffering a fatal heart attack while batting.
Vijay Patel reportedly starting to feel unwell before collapsing at the crease.
The incident took place at the Fraser Boys ground in Jalna, Western India.
The star was caught on camera as he fell ill after talking to his team-mate.
While he walked back to his crease, he collapsed on the wicket after suffering from a heart attack.
His team-mates and opposition players rushed to his aid and promptly transported him to a nearby hospital in a desperate attempt to save him.

Despite their efforts, medics declared him dead upon arrival.
Reports suggested that Patel was on Christmas vacation.
During the tournament, Bhola Kamble, the organiser, reported that Patel fell to the ground after hitting a six in the second over of the game.
He said: "Initially, we suspected he had a leg cramp, but upon closer inspection, we discovered he was in significant distress.

"It became apparent that he was experiencing discomfort in his chest.
"Without hesitation, we immediately transported him to the nearest hospital when he collapsed.
"Tragically, the doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead."
Patel's death comes after another young star died after a cardiac arrest while playing.
