PETER WRIGHT looked unrecognisable as he showed off his natural hair ahead of his World Darts Championship quarter-final clash.
The two-time world champion has rolled back the years to make the last eight after defeating world number one Luke Humphries in the third round.
He is a colourful character at the oche and his iconic mowhawk hairstyle has become his trademark down the years.
Wright's wife Joanne, a hairdresser, is responsible for his wacky looks and spends two hours cultivating his looks.
But, ahead of his clash with Stephen Bunting, Wright sported a different look as he sat being interviewed alongside his wife.
Wright, 54, showed off his grey hair in its natural state - without the gel and hairspray that makes it stand on end.

His hair is very much a team effort as Snakebite revealed the idea behind the different coloured mowhawks came from his daughter.
He explained: “It's down to my daughter because she's the one who has all different colour hair and I thought 'I'll try that'.
“No other dart players have tried it and it just stuck.
“I class it as going to war with my war paint on ready for battle.”

Wright has had an interesting tournament away from the stage at the World Darts Championship.
He has talked up a number of opponents with Bunting warning he was not going to get embroiled in his "mind games".
Michael van Gerwen also had a go at Wright and made a cheeky pop at the Scot's homelife too.
He said: "Every year at the worlds he talks so much nonsense.
"Peter Wright, yeah. He’s always allowed to talk c**p.
"No one takes him seriously on the tour as well because he’s not allowed an opinion at home as well, do you know what I mean?"
