Ben and gone

Chelsea outcast Ben Chilwell has been lined up for a stunning transfer to Juventus.

The left-back hasn’t made a single Premier League or Europa League appearance under Enzo Maresca this season.

Chilwell is now hoping to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge before deadline day.

And  claims Italian giants Juventus have emerged as leading contenders.

Juventus hope to add some ball-playing technicality to their backline by beating Borussia Dortmund to the loan signing of Chelsea’s versatile Portugal international Renato Veiga.

But Chilwell has also emerged as a target due to strong interest from Manchester City in left-sider Andrea Cambiaso.

Chiefs from Juventus are now set for a mega-meeting with Chelsea counterparts as they look to secure deals for both Veiga and Chilwell.

Barry set for Celtic move

Louie Barry wants a move to Celtic.

The Daily Record claim the Aston Villa forward, who starred at Stockport on loan this season, has let the club know of his intentions.

Barry has since returned to his parent club, after taking League One by storm.

Despite being recalled in early January, he still tops the scoring charts.

Villa are keen for Barry to get more experience at a higher level, and feel a loan to Celtic could suit both parties.

Moyes calls for new signings

I don't think the picture has changed.

"We need to get a couple of players in if we can.

"We've still got some restrictions we need to be mindful of in this window.

"We will need to add people. We need to make sure next season when we're playing in the new stadium we're in the Premier League, that's the goal at the moment."

All change at Everton

EVERTON transfer supremo Kevin Thelwell and chief scout Dan Purdy face the chop from the new American owners.

Thelwell has been director of football for the past three years and played a part in David Moyes’ appointment to replace Sean Dyche.

Head of scouting Purdy has held a number of roles in more than a decade at Goodison Park.

The pair, whose contracts are up at the end of the season, had to work within financial constraints before new owners were found.

Having made the decision to sack Dyche, the Americans are keen to reshape the operation and Moyes could have a major say.

David Weir, who is technical director at Brighton, has been linked with a return to a club where he spent eight years as a player.

Atalanta senior scout Mick Doherty is a more likely option — ironically he is the brains behind the Serie A club’s attempts to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Chalobah fee

CHELSEA want a stunning £40million for centre-half Trevoh Chalobah after his recall from Crystal Palace.

The Stamford Bridge money men expect the huge fee for the defender.

He is now available to play for Blues boss Enzo Maresca following the termination of his loan in South London.

Chalobah, who made 14 appearances for Palace, could yet play regularly for Chelsea this season.

But if anyone hits the cash target then he is likely to go.

Palace are unwilling to meet the figure and pay the 25-year-old’s wages, which are close to £7m a year.

Neymar loan move

NEYMAR could make a dramatic return to Santos after the club made a loan offer to sign him.

The Brazilian has been sidelined for the best part of 18 months since his switch to Al-Hilal.

Neymar, 32, ruptured his ACL in October 2023 and lasted just 30 minutes in his injury comeback in November.

He had made just seven appearances for Al-Hilal, scoring once, and could now be set to leave the club.

Former club Santos are interested in signing Neymar and have submitted a loan proposal, according to Fabrizio Romano.

They are understood to be waiting for the go ahead from Al-Hilal, with Neymar reportedly agreeing to the switch.

To do so, United may well have to beat off strong competition from Arsenal.

“It’s down to me to put in the effort, the hard work, the desire, to make that achievement. I am not going to give up, I am going to keep fighting.”

Rashford future

Luke Littler has had his say on Marcus Rashford's future.

The forward has fallen out of favour with Ruben Amorim, and could depart Old Trafford.

Littler told Sky Sports: "If Marcus leaves, it'll feel weird. I've seen Marcus make his debut in the Europa League and then against Arsenal.

"With Kobbie and Garnacho, it won't feel right."

Fowler's theory on contract rebels

Robbie Fowler believes Liverpool contract rebels Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk, and Mo Salah may have already signed new deals.

He told Prime: "I do have a little theory actually, I don't know if this is so far from the truth. I just think two of them have signed already, for some reason and maybe one hasn't.

"But a simple fact is that the club can't come out and say 'you have signed' because it makes the other one look worse. I think there is a possibility that may have happened.

"I think if two of them sign and they [Liverpool] come out and say 'we've signed them' it puts so much pressure on the one who hasn't."

Luiz return eyed

Douglas Luiz is being eyed up for a sensational return to the Premier League.

The Brazilian starred for Aston Villa, before moving to Juventus in the summer.

However, he's failed to break into Thiago Motta's Serie A side and a loan move could be possible.

The Athletic claim the Turin giants are looking at offloading the midfielder - either to buy or on a loan to buy deal.

Man City are reportedly considering a move, the report adds.

Dortmund currently sit 10th in the Bundesliga and currently seven points behind the Champions League places.

Newcastle have rejected a verbal bid from Juventus for centre-back Lloyd Kelly.

The Italian side offered a loan with an option to buy, according to Fabrizio Romano.
