Tottenham are considering a shock loan move for Marcus Rashford, according to reports.

The 27-year-old has not featured in any of Manchester United's last six games as he eyes an Old Trafford exit.

The Daily Mail report Tottenham would like to bring him in on loan this month after The Athletic claimed an unnamed Premier League side were weighing up a bid.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou was asked about the possibility of signing Rashford back in December and gave little away, saying: "If I looked at everyone we were linked to, I would have no time to do anything else to be honest."

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly pushing for Al-Nassr to sign former teammate Casemiro from Man Utd.

Casemiro has been linked with a switch to the Saudi Pro League this month after struggling at Old Trafford.

A move to the Riyadh-based club would see him reunite with former Real Madrid and Man Utd teammate Ronaldo, who is said to be keen on the deal himself.

Man Utd reportedly face competition from Chelsea and Liverpool in the race for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez.

The Hungarian left-back has been in superb form for the Cherries this season.

But he has had mixed fortunes since his move to the Premier League.

According to Give Me Sport, the 32-year-old has been offered a way out of Manchester.

Man Utd will reportedly listen to serious transfer offers for their ENTIRE squad – including a trio who were untouchable under former boss Erik ten Hag.

The Guardian claims owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ready to back Ruben Amorim by making every single senior star available for sale.

While summer signings including Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte may be shown the door after just six months.

Chelsea have joined Arsenal in the race for Nico Williams, according to reports.

Liverpool are also interested in the 22-year-old who has a £48million release clause in his Athletic Bilbao contract.

The winger impressed for La Roja during Euro 2024 and his Man of the Match performance helped them to victory over England in the final.

Rashford transfer latest

Marcus Rashford's agent has flown to Italy to meet the recruitment staff at AC Milan, according to reports.

The 27-year-old winger's brother Dwaine held exploratory talks with AC Milan about loaning the Man Utd wantaway star this January.

Discussions remain at a preliminary stage as Milan’s senior executive team were returning from Riyadh, reports

AC Milan fought back from 2-0 down in Saudi Arabia to beat rivals Inter 3-2 in the Italian Super Cup.

Now Milan bosses are deciding whether to make an offer for Rashford.

But it would only be a loan deal and United would have to pay a large chunk of his £350,000-a-week wages.

Juventus have already decided not to make a move for Rashford because of his salary, even though they like the forward.

Milan’s senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a big fan of the England international, as they played together at Old Trafford for two years between 2016-2018.

SunSport also revealed that Rashford could be involved in a stunning swap deal with Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.

Palmer 'likes' Mainoo interest

Cole Palmer appears to have endorsed Chelsea's bid to sign Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.

The Blues' talisman liked a post on Instagram suggesting Chelsea were leading the race to complete a transfer should Mainoo make his exit.

"News today of Chelsea leading the chase for Kobbie Mainoo if he leaves Man Utd. What do we think? Would this be a good move for him?" read a post by TheSecretScout1.

The pair already appear to have struck up a bond, with Palmer making use of Mainoo's celebration after scoring in the Euro 2024 final against Spain. "I ran to the byline, told Cole to do my celebration as well – which he did,” Mainoo told GQ. “I was gassed.”

Mainoo to demand huge wages

Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo has reportedly requested a significant pay increase in order to reject Chelsea and sign a new contract at Old Trafford.

The central midfielder is said to be "concerned" about the direction of the club despite the recent appointment of Ruben Amorim as manager and the encouraging signs shown during United's 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday.

Should United want to extend Mainoo's deal, the Mail say that the 19-year-old is demanding wages of around £200,000-per-week to sign fresh terms.

West Ham close to manager

West Ham are on the verge of appointing Graham Potter, according to Alex Crook.

He is expected to sign a six-month deal which could be extended for a further two-and-a-half years.

United open to trio sale

Manchester United will listen to serious offers for any of Ruben Amorim’s squad, including Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund, according to the Guardian.

The trio were previously deemed untouchable but United understand they need to be better sellers to meet profit & sustainability rules.

United’s lack of funds means Mainoo and Garnacho, as homegrown players, would represent 100% profit under PSR.

Mainoo has been discussed at Chelsea, who have not ruled out moving for him, but their interest is yet to advance. The London club’s focus is on defensive additions and they hope they can buy back Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace.

Everton eye Aston Villa star

Everton have opened talks to sign Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The winger joined from Hull in the summer but his game time has been limited and he could be allowed to leave permanently.

Negotiations are underway between the two clubs.

West Ham eye Arsenal defender

West Ham United had reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Arsenal over the transfer of left-back Kieran Tierney, per Graeme Bailey.

Tierney has completely fallen out of favour at Arsenal and has been linked with a return to Celtic.

Leicester City and Brentford are also keen on the left-back, who is out of contract in the summer.

Arsenal could wait for target

Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer but it doesn’t look like Arsenal will be able to sign Nico Williams this month, according to talkSPORT.

Williams' contract with Athletic Bilbao includes a hefty €60million (£49.8m) release clause, which the LaLiga side is expected to demand in its entirety.

Additionally, he is currently earning a substantial wage of £165,000 per week.

Rather than spending nearly £50 million on a single player, Arsenal may find themselves searching for alternative options that are less financially daunting.

Barcelona’s Dani Olmo is another potential target for Arsenal alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Lee Kang In.

Spurs eye defender to solve crisis

Tottenham are interested in signing Udinese defender Thomas Kristensen, according to journalist Messaggero Veneto.

The centre-back could cost around £14million and Udinese are open to letting him leave.

Fulham lead race for striker

Fulham are leading the race to sign Botafogo striker Igor Jesus, according to TBR Football.

TBR Football has previously confirmed that Igor Jesus has caught Arsenal and Chelsea’s attention as well as the likes of Newcastle United and Brentford.

But Fulham are favourites to sign Jesus and could offer Rodrigo Muniz in return.

Wolves plotting more business

Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to sign another central defender in January after Emmanuel Agbadou and have earmarked Lens star Kevin Danso as one of their options, journalist David Ornstein has revealed.

He said: “That isn't the end of Wolves’ business.

“They're looking to bring in another central defender as well, if they can, Kevin Danso, formerly of Southampton, now at Lens, also in France, among the options that they admire.”
