Sheamus discusses new deal
Sheamus has opened up about signing a new contract with WWE.
He said: “I signed a new five-year deal. It just started about two months ago. I’m loving it.
“The channel hit a million. A lot of great men and women, WWE superstars have given their own time as well to make that happen. So that’s not something where I go I got a million followers. Again, the channel wouldn’t happen only for a lot of the talents were so gracious with their time, and they were so nice about it, because they weren’t getting any money.
“They’re just on Saturday. You’re on the loop, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, whatever. They’d have a Saturday morning off to get dinner, go to gym, and I’m dragging them into a Celtic Warrior Workout. And they gave their time graciously. So definitely, thanks to all every single person who’s been on that channel, because every single one of them gave their own time, and it would not have happened without them giving their time to make the channel.”
Look away now...
WWE legend Nikki Bella went viral during RAW's premiere episode on Netflix.
But so did sports analyst Bill Simmons, who was sat right next to Bella, 41, while she was introduced by the celebrity camera.
The camera focused on Bella who proceeded with her signature sensual dance before blowing a kiss to the crowd.
Simmons, 55, was sat right next to her and fans noticed he was really trying not to look during the wrestler's dance.
Cena responds to speculation
John Cena has responded to speculation about who he could face on his farewell tour.
The WWE legend said: “With all the speculation of like, ‘Oh, could it be this person, could it be this person,’ I just wanted to let the crowd know that I’m just grateful to have a chance.
“There is no other competitor, no other superstar in the Rumble that can say it’s their last, and it is guaranteed my last.
“So when you’re extra tired, or maybe if you need some extra strength to hold on to that top rope so your feet don’t hit the floor, knowing that it’s your last, you take a different perspective on stuff. So I’m hoping that gives me the energy to get a ticket to WrestleMania.”
WWE cancel legend's appearance
WWE brought all the stars out for their debut show on Netflix, but the Monday Night Raw could have had perhaps their biggest female star of all-time, too.
According to Bodyslam.net, Becky Lynch was pencilled to make her return to WWE after over six months away, but the plan was cancelled at the last minute.
WWE reportedly replaced Lynch with The Undertaker.
Lynch was scheduled to appear at the conclusion of Ripley and Morgan, presumably setting up her WrestleMania plans with the winner.
But the company decided to go with The Undertaker's moment alongside Ripley instead as the WWE Hall of Famer returned as the American Badass and celebrated with the newly crowned champion.
WWE favorite returns
The Undertaker made his latest return to the WWE during last night's show.
He pulled up on his iconic motorcycle moments after Rhea Ripley's victory over Liv Morgan.
John Cena on farewell year
John Cena has been asked about the prospect of bringing back some of his former personas during his final year with the WWE.
He said, "Peacemaker is a DC thing. You never know, never say never, right? The great thing about the farewell tour, tonight, we debuted a new outfit. It was very regionally focused.
"The Prototype, I don’t know if I have all the string to grow out the crappy blonde hair again. The Prototype wore different colors. The colors of the home team, so to speak. I’m really looking forward to trying to go back to the way I started.
"Thug Life, the Dr. of Thuganomics John Cena would wear home or away jerseys. There is elements of everything already in front of you.
"Hopefully, by the end of all this, if you want to see a certain facet of the 23 years I’ve been in the business, hopefully you can get that little sprinkle. I’m definitely focused on that and hopefully we can deliver.”
CM Punk on WrestleMania
CM Punk has admitted that he finds it "scary" to think of headlining WrestleMania for the first time.
Speaking about defeating Seth Rollins, he said: "While I think you would be foolish to say that it doesn’t matter, I would also feel it’s foolish to hold me to the same ideas and things that I said 10-12 years ago.
"A lot of other people think that maybe I need to main-event WrestleMania to solidify anything I’ve ever done. I could have never come back here and had a Hall of Fame career.
"If that opportunity arises, I’m not going to shy away from it, because it scares the hell out of me, frankly. If your dreams don’t scare you, you need to find bigger ones.
"Main eventing the first Raw on Netflix is a pretty big deal, though. Nobody else can say they did that.
I want people in the locker room to feel the way I did. I want people to look at me and go, ‘That should be me. I want that opportunity. I want that situation. I want that high-pressure match.’
"Pressure will absolutely make diamonds and there are too many talented people in that locker room to be complacent."
Hulk Hogan's appearance
It's fair to say Hulk Hogan's appearance at last night's show split opinion online...
The 71-year-old was booed by the crowd at the Intuit Dome.
Stars in the building
Vanessa Hudgens was among the stars to attend last night's WWE Raw on Netflix show.
The actress, 36, beamed as she was pictured inside the Intuit Dome.
Nick Khan on Saudi news
WWE president Nick Khan has had his say after it was announced that next year's Royal Rumble will be staged by Saudi Arabia.
He said: "WWE is a global enterprise and it only made sense to expand our relationship with the Kingdom by bringing one of our biggest annual events to Riyadh in January of 2026."
More from Turki Alalshikh

He said: "We are excited to see this historic event as part of Riyadh Season’s activities and look forward to providing an exceptional experience for wrestling fans from around the world, whom we welcome to all events hosted in Saudi Arabia."
ICYMI - Royal Rumble headed to Saudi
Saudi Arabia is set to host next year's Royal Rumble, it has been confirmed.
This will mark the first time that the showpiece event has ever been taken outside of North America.
Turki Alalshikh said: "Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the Royal Rumble for the first time outside North America reflects the General Entertainment Authority’s ongoing commitment to bringing the world’s largest and most important entertainment events to the Kingdom.
"Through this partnership with WWE, we aim to enhance the entertainment sector and deliver a transformative experience that attracts a wide audience."
Cena begins final year
John Cena has entered his final year with the WWE.
And he has pledged to make it a memorable one.
"The only time we say never around here, is when we say 'Never give up'," he began, while speaking in the ring last night.
"Los Angeles I do owe you a thank you because of you, I'm not just going to the Royal Rumble. I'm going win the Royal Rumble.
"You want some? Come get some!"
The Rock responds
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has posted on social media following his appearance at WWE Raw on Netflix last night.
He wrote, "History has been made 👊🏾
"Good to see old friends and see you down the road.
"PS- Thank you for biggest arena gate in the history of the @WWE
"PSS- @wwenxt, see you tomorrow
"Teremana time 🥃 ~final boss"
A Rocky moment...
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson made an appearance as the WWE debuted on Netflix last night.
But one moment from his outing had fans scratching their heads.
A social media user pointed out, "The Rock just congratulated the audience on paying the highest prices for an arena show in WWE history, and they resoundingly applauded."
Triple H reacts
WWE chief content officer Triple H has reacted to the company's Netflix debut.
He wrote on social media, "From the moment @IntuitDome doors opened, through the final bell.. what an incredible night.
"A MASSIVE thank you to the @WWEUniverse in LA and around the world for being part of the first-ever #RawOnNetflix!
"See you in 7 days… @netflix"
Fans react to Hogan appearance
Hulk Hogan was BOOED as he made an appearance at WWE Raw last night.
The crowd's reaction certainly got fans talking online.
One wrote, "It shook him to the soul BROTHER!"
While a second claimed, "that was the most awkward segment of the year so far."
Another joked, "I see LA did us all proud."
Hulk Hogan booed by crowd
Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made a rare WWE appearance at last night's first Netflix show.
But the 71-year-old wasn't greeted warmly by fans.
Instead he received a chorus boos, not something he's been accustomed to during his career.
Where was Becky Lynch?
It looked like women's legend Becky Lynch would be returning to the promostion after a Netflix promo was released last month.
Lynch, a five-time world champ, has not appeared in the ring since May because of her contract.
Fans and media were expecting her to make a comeback but she was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, Rhea Ripley beat Liv Morgan to become the women's champ for the second time in her career.
While celebrating, The Undertaker made a shock appearance as the American Badass and greeted a raucous crowd by revving his Harley-Davidson.
According to BodySlam's Cory Hayes that wasn't the original plan.
Lynchy was meant to appear but that moment was dropped in favour of The Undertaker.
But the same report claims she WILL be back soon.

- CM Punk def. Seth Rollins
- Roman Reigns def. Solo Sikoa (Tribal Combat)
- Rhea Ripley def. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan
- Jey Uso def. Drew McIntyre
What's next for John Cena?
John Cena appears to be the biggest favourite to win the Men's Royal Rumble Match after announcing himself for next month's premium live event.
Cena hasn't won a Singles Match for over 2,000 days so he seems set for one last major underdog story.
The Champ could win the 30-men over-the-top-rope battle royal for a third time, that would see him tying Stone Cold Steve Austin's record.
If nothing changes in the title picture, then the 16-time world champion would look to win a record 17th world title against either WWE Champion Cody Rhodes or World Heavyeight Champion Gunther.
What's next for Roman Reigns?
Roman Reigns seems set for bigger and better things after beating Solo Sikoa and basically ending the feud with The New Bloodline.
Reigns and The Rock met in the ring after the Tribal Combat in a segment that saw the latter awarding his cousing with the esteemed Ula Fala symbol.
And the confrontation seemed so intense that it strongly hinted at an imminent dream match between them.
A match between them was expected to take place last year at WrestleMania 40, so we can all assume that bout will be put together at WrestleMania 41.
What's next for CM Punk?
CM Punk picked up his biggest win since his return at last year's Survivor Series against Seth Rollins.
Punk is now expected to compete at the Royal Rumble on February 1 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
However, The Best in the World's war with Rollins can't be over just yet.
So expect a rematch between the two fierce rivals at WrestleMania 41!
