  • Leeds Utd 1-0 Harrogate

    60. Finally Leeds Utd have broken the deadlock.

As a ball comes into the danger area, Ramazani heads home from close range.

Credit to the visitors, they held off for a whole hour at Elland Road.

  • Goal - Largie Ramazani (Leeds Utd)

  • Leeds Utd 0-0 Harrogate

    60. This is proving to be a tough nut to crack for the hosts.

It is like attack versus defence at Elland Road.

All that matters to Harrogate is that the game is still level.

  • Man City 4-0 Salford

    48. Jack Grealish goals come around about as often as global pandemics of late but we have one here.

He steps up to take the penalty and strokes it into the corner with the keeper going the wrong way.

Man City will be looking to get a lot more goals here.

ALL the ingredients were there for a cup upset – with members of the Class of ’92 in attendance - both on the bench and in the directors box.

But instead it was City’s kids who took centre stage with two of them Divin Mubama and Nico O’Reilly getting among the goals after Jeremy Doku’s opener.

  • HT: Coventry City 1-0 Sheff Wed

Former FA Cup winners meet in this third round tie.

It is the hosts who lead through Kitching's goal after 26 minutes.

They have dominated the game so far and the visitors are going to have to take it up a gear or two to change the outcome.

  • HT: Man City 3-0 Salford

It has all been fairly routine for the hosts.

That said, Salford have created chances themselves.

The clinical nature of Guardiola's side has shown their ruthless edge in this one.

  • HT: Leeds Utd 0-0 Harrogate

The visitors will be pleased with their work in that half.

Leeds are struggling to work the keeper as much as they should be with the chances created.

If they cannot change that, we are perfectly set up for a goal against the run of play and a cup upset.

  • Man City 3-0 Salford

    43. Doku does well to cut it back from the byline to O'Reilly.

He has time to take one touch to control before drilling his shot into the far corner of the goal.

This could be a long game for the visitors now.

  • Goal - Nico O'Reilly (Man City)

  • Coventry City 1-0 Sheff Wed

    26. The deadlock has been broken in this one.

A cross from Viktor Torp picks out Liam Kitcking, whose left-footed shot heads into the top corner of the goal.

Some action for these fans on a cold evening in the Midlands.

  • Goal - Liam Kitching (Coventry City)

  • Leeds Utd 0-0 Harrogate

    38. It has been one-way traffic at Elland Road.

The hosts have had 73% possession and the majority of the efforts.

They just cannot seem to breakdown this Harrogate defence.

Pep Guardiola took the chance to give his stars a much-needed rest – leading some to wonder if the Manchester City bench was the strongest one ever.

But to be fair the understudies did not do badly – with Jeremy Doku giving City an early lead and debutant Divin Mubama adding another.

It looks a long way back from here for the League Two high-fliers – particularly when you consider what the champions have in reserve, if needed.

  • Coventry City 0-0 Sheff Wed

    18. This is a match making fans wish they had made other plans.

We are almost twenty minutes into the game and neither side has registered a single shot on or off target.

What a way to spend your Saturday night.

  • Man City 2-0 Salford

    25. A bizarre moment at The Etihad.

Savinho tries to keep the ball in play but it is shepherded out by the defender.

As the Salford player eases the Brazilian away from the ball he completely disappears from sight like a Vegas magic act.

He reappears from the photography pit behind the goal, hilarious.

  • Man City 2-0 Salford

    21. You will not see a simpler first goal for a club.

Nunes does well drawing the keeper to near post before squaring it for Mubama to slide in and score from half a yard out.

Unless Salford tighten things up in defence, this could be a heavy defeat against Pep Guardiola's side.

  • Goal - Divin Mubama (Man City)

  • Leeds Utd 0-0 Harrogate

    20. The hosts have dominated the opening stages.

The only wonder is how they have not found the back of the net.

It has an air of expectancy at Elland Road, with everyone wondering when the first goal will eventually come.

  • Man City 1-0 Salford

    16. How City are not two-nil up only one person will know, Simpson-Pusey.

As a cross came in, Ake headed it back across goal.

One yard out, completely unmarked, the Man City defender completely missed the ball.

    Terrible miss.

  • Man City 1-0 Salford

    8. Nunes wins the ball on the halfway line.

He works it onto Grealish who holds it up well until Doku can join on the overlap.

Doku bends one into the far corner with keeper unable to keep it out despite getting fingers to it.

  • Goal - Jeremy Doku (Man City)

WHAT a day for Salford City – a local derby against the Premier League champions. But Karl Robinson’s men arrive at the Etihad in prime form – having won their last six matches to put themselves firmly in the promotion race.

Pep Guardiola has rested some of his star players – to get those who have made the short journey across town dreaming of an upset. Salford shareholder Gary Neville – who has had plenty to say about City’s recent slump – misses the game as he is away skiing.

One interesting angle to Guardiola’s team – skipper Kyle Walker is left out for ‘tactical reasons’. His form has been a real worry this season.
