Mainoo transfer latest
Ruben Amorim challenged Kobbie Mainoo to show he deserves to join Manchester United’s high earners.
Mainoo’s meteoric rise means the England star - attracting interest from Chelsea - is one of their lowest earners and wants a hike to around £200,000 a week.
Amorim, facing his FA Cup bow today, knows the 19-year-old midfielder is a jewel in the Old Trafford crown.
Yet the United chief insists Mainoo still needs plenty of polishing and said: “Kobbie has been improving a lot over the last few matches.
“But I think you guys feel like he is the finished product - he is not. He is really good but can be so much better. He has so much potential to grow up even more.”
Arsenal’s last FA Cup campaign
Arsenal fell at the first hurdle last season, losing 2-0 to Liverpool at the Emirates.
A Jakub Kiwior own goal and a Luis Diaz injury-time strike saw the Merseysiders cruise into the fourth round.
The Gunners have lost in the third round in two of the past three seasons.
Is VAR going to be used today?
No - VAR will NOT be used at the Emirates today.
This is because VAR is coming into the tournament from the fifth round this season.
Last season VAR was used in the third and fourth rounds, but only at Premier League stadiums.
Today's FA Cup fixtures
Here are all the third round ties taking place today:

FA Cup shock
Plymouth Argyle provided the shock of the third round yesterday with a 1-0 win at Premier League Brentford.
The Pilgrims are rooted to the bottom of the Championship.
But they secured the stunning win for new boss Miron Muslic, who replaced Wayne Rooney
Last time out between the sides
It was Set Piece FC (Ole,Ole) as Arsenal defeated Manchester United in a 2-0 victory with both goals coming from their trusted corner kicks in the Premier League last month.
Jurrien Timber and William Saliba knocked in the goals as the Gunners dominated in the second half.
But will we see more of the same today?
No More Red
Arsenal will be wearing all white today at the Emirates as the club’s No More Red campaign reaches its fourth season.
The white shirts are to raise awareness of knife crime in the capital, and cannot be bought.
Instead, the shirts are awarded by Arsenal to people and organisations tackling the causes of youth violence.
