Dustin Johnson WILL play in the Masters after recovering from back injury caused by falling down stairs
World No 1's trainer confirms hot tournament favourite is well enough to play
DUSTIN JOHNSON will tee off in this year's Masters, his trainer has confirmed.
The world No 1 and hot tournament favourite was a huge doubt for the year's first Major after falling down stairs and injuring his back.
But he will tee off in his bid for a second Major at 7.03pm BST.
Johnson came to Augusta on the back of three straight victories and was rightfully installed as the pre-tournament favourite.
However his attempt at a first green jacket looked to be over before it had even begun after his fall was reported yesterday evening.
