Antony’s horror Man Utd career gets even worse with ‘miss of the season’ as fans say ‘maybe this sport isn’t for you’
ANTONY registered a contender for "miss of the season" against Southampton.
The out-of-form winger came off the bench with United 1-0 down against bottom of the table Saints.
But Antony sent the Old Trafford crowd and fans online into meltdown after his horror miss from just yards out.
Alejandro Garnacho - who squandered a sitter of his own in the first-half - squared the ball across to substitute Antony.
But the Brazilian appeared to slip and actually send the ball sideways - back the way it came from.
Fuming fans online showed no mercy as one said: "How has Antony not scored?."

Antony was signed by old boss Erik ten Hag from Ajax for £85.5million but he has struggled for form with just 12 goals to his name in United red.
United needed a late Amad Diallo hat-trick to come from behind in the last ten minutes and win the game 3-1.
