Hojlund addresses struggles
Manchester United ace Rasmus Hojlund has opened up on his tough time at Old Trafford.
I knew that was part of the package when I signed. It is what it is.
It's part of the story of being a Manchester United player.
You get criticised if you're not performing to the level and if you're not up there where the club wants to be, which is completely fair.
Rasmus Hojlund
Another potential Onana successor
Manchester United are intensifying their pursuit of Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, who is valued at £40 million.
United aim to provide competition for current starter Andre Onana, whose form has been inconsistent. ?/p>
Onana was at fault once more on Thursday night as Man Utd lost to Lyon after squandering a lead in the closing minutes.
The opening leg of their Europa League quarterfinal ended 2-2, with the French team netting both goals thanks to mistakes made by the Cameroon international.
Meanwhile, Suzuki made 30 appeareances in Serie A games this season, preserving five clean sheets.
The 22-year-old is yet to commit a mistake that resulted in a goal in the league.
Man Utd target Verbruggen
Manchester United have enquired about Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.
Man Utd's No1 Andre Onana dropped two howlers in the 2-2 draw with Lyon on Thursday.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, United have Verbruggen in their sights as an alternative this summer.
Rasmus Hojlund swap
Manchester United are considering swapping Rasmus Hojlund for Napoli loanee Victor Osimhen, who currently plays for Galatasaray.
According to Tutto Sport, United are working to secure the signing of Osimhen.
And they are considering offering Hojlund in a swap deal to go to Naples as part of the transfer.
The Denmark international has been struggling to meet expectations at Old Trafford.
Man Utd target Doue
Manchester United are huge admirers of Paris Saint-Germain star Desire Doue.
But United would have to shell out an eye-watering sum to land Doue this summer.
According to Fichajes, PSG boss Luis Enrique views the France international as a "cornerstone" of his project.
The reigning French champions have valued the forward at £258million.

Newcastle are running riot here!
Bruno Guimaraes is now on the score sheet following a goalkeeping howler from Altay Bayindir.
Can United plug the hole or will there be more goals for Toon?
Rio transfer advice
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has named four players his former team must sign this summer.
I agree with Gary Neville that they need five players, I think they need four or five players but they will be constrained by [Profit and Sustainability Rules]. I want a centre midfielder to play alongside [Manuel] Ugarte.
That player needs to be able to take the ball and transfer it through to Bruno [Fernandes] and the strikers. And you know who I'd go for? Adam Wharton.
We need [Victor] Osimhen. We need experience. We need someone who knows how to score. We need someone who can come and show these young strikers at Man United how to do it.
Another one I'd go and buy is [Matheus] Cunha. He's made it clear that he wants to leave so I'd go and get Cunha.
You know who else I'd go and get? [Jeremie] Frimpong at right wing-back.
Rio FerdinandGoal - Newcastle 3 Man Utd 1
It's another goal for Barnes!
The winger fires home with aplomb in front of England boss Thomas Tuchel.
It's a long way back from here for United.

Harvey Barnes has fired Newcastle ahead in the 49th minute.
The next goal is crucial.
Goal - Newcastle 1 Man Utd 1

And it's Alejandro Garnacho who slots a tasty finish past Nick Pope!
This is one thrilling game so far.
Mainoo's contract
Last month, it was revealed Kobbie Mainoo is weighing up a move abroad with Manchester United’s new contract offer short of what he was hoping for.
Mainoo ?who turns 20 this month ?has two years left on his deal and currently earns around £20,000 a week.
The midfielder's representatives want terms that would reflect the England international’s standing in the squad.
Their demand for around £180,000 per week is unlikely to be met by United as they look to get control of their wage bill.
As well as clubs around Europe, Chelsea are likely to be monitoring the situation closely.
GOAL - Newcastle 1 Man Utd 0
United are behind after 24 minutes.
And it's Sandro Tonali who scores a cracker thanks to some great play from Alexander Isak.

Eddie Howe absence
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe will be absent from the Premier League match with Manchester United at St James' Park due to illness.
He will miss Newcastle United's Premier League game against Manchester United on Sunday due to illness.
The Magpies' head coach was admitted to hospital late on Friday evening having felt unwell for a number of days.
Medical staff kept Eddie in hospital overnight for further tests, which are ongoing. He is conscious and talking with his family, and is continuing to receive expert medical care.
Everyone at Newcastle United extends their best wishes to Eddie for a speedy recovery, and further updates will follow in due course.
Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones will lead the team at St. James' Park on Sunday, supported by the club's first team staff.
NewcastleMan Utd XI to face Newcastle

There is also a full debut for Harry Amass at left wing-back.
While Joshua Zirkzee is rewarded for his goal at Lyon with a start up top.

Newcastle XI: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Barnes
Crystal Palace eye Rashford
Crystal Palace are plotting a sensational swoop for Marcus Rashford if Aston Villa don’t sign him at the end of the season.
Palace executives are monitoring the striker’s performances at Villa Park after he signed a loan deal from United in the January transfer window.
A source told The Sun on Sunday that the Eagles are closely monitoring the situation and are interested in talking to the player in the summer.
Palace, who lost 5-2 to Man City on Saturday, are 12th in the Premier League and have reached the FA Cup semi-final against Villa under Austrian manager Oliver Glasner.
He has built an exciting squad around Adam Wharton, Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Chelsea loanee Ben Chilwell.
Palace are keeping a very close eye on Rashford and what happens with Villa and United.
There is a good buzz around the club at the moment and someone like Marcus is exactly the kind of player they would love to attract.
They know they would have to keep onto their better players to try and persuade Marcus to move to South London.
SourceAndre Onana replacements?
Manchester United could be on the search for a new goalkeeper this summer after Andre Onana was left out of the squad against Newcastle.
Here are five potential candidates:
- Bart Verbruggen (Brighton)
- Zion Suzuki (Parma)
- Lucas Chevalier (Lille)
- Diogo Costa (Porto)
- Senne Lammens (Antwerp)
Liam Delap transfer war
Everton and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Manchester United transfer target Liam Delap.
Delap can leave Ipswich Town for £30million because of an escape clause relating to the team getting relegated from the Premier League this season.
So the Toffees are willing to be patient and wait for the striker.
The Merseysiders have been relying on Beto for goals, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin often injured and out of contract in the summer.
Moyes wants fresh attackers, including Liverpool winger Ben Doak and hopes the new owners will fund those moves as the club switch to their spanking new £800m stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Matheus Cunha latest
Wolves star Matheus Cunha has a £62.5million release clause in his new contract, which expires in the summer of 2029.
Manchester United have several players on the books they could cash in on to finance a summer swoop for Cunha.
Loanees Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho - who are currently with Real Betis, Aston Villa and Chelsea respectively - are contenders to be sold this coming summer.
And United manager Ruben Amorim is eager to start building a team to reflect his ethos in the summer.
But Amorim admits he won't be able to do that unless he gets rid of some of the dead wood at the club.
Man Utd transfer advice
Ally McCoist advised Manchester United that they must keep hold of captain Bruno Fernandes this summer.
McCoist told :
In terms of getting back to where they want to be, it’s still a long road ahead.
The problem they have now is attracting world-class players who can move them forward - especially if they miss out on European football.
People talk about who they should bring in, but I think it’s even more important they don’t lose Bruno Fernandes. He’s been absolutely different class.
I know Roy Keane gave him a bit of stick recently, but seriously—where would United be without him?
He’s played further forward in some games, like against Everton, and made a real difference. But even when he dropped deeper, like he did against Forest, he was able to dictate the game. He can pick a pass, split defences, score goals.
He’s just so important. Yes, they need fresh faces, but first and foremost, they must keep hold of Fernandes.
Ally McCoistAndre Onana dropped
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been rested by manager Ruben Amorim for the Premier League trip to Newcastle.
This comes after Onana's two major errors on Thursday, which led to both of Lyon's goals in United's 2-2 draw in the Europa League at the Groupama Stadium.
Altay Bayindir is set to make his Prem debut with Man Utd at St James?Park,.
According to The Guardian, Onana is likely to be recalled for Thursday’s quarter-final second leg at Old Trafford.
The Cameroon international was left behind when the Red Devils travelled to Tyneside on Saturday.
Amorim believes being taken out the line of fire will benefit the 29-year-old after the errors and recent off-field difficulties.
Hojlund eyed for loan
Juventus are keen to sign Manchester United ace Rasmus Hojlund on loan.
According to , Juve and Napoli are among the teams eyeing Hojlund ahead of the summer transfer window.
But it's the Bianconeri who are weighing a loan deal with an option to buy the striker.
However, the deal for the Denmark international has to be completed before the Club World Cup, which begins in two months time.
