Andre Onana dropped
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been rested by manager Ruben Amorim for the Premier League trip to Newcastle.
This comes after Onana's two major errors on Thursday, which led to both of Lyon's goals in United's 2-2 draw in the Europa League at the Groupama Stadium.
Altay Bayindir is set to make his Prem debut with Man Utd at St James?Park,.
According to The Guardian, Onana is likely to be recalled for Thursday’s quarter-final second leg at Old Trafford.
The Cameroon international was left behind when the Red Devils travelled to Tyneside on Saturday.
Amorim believes being taken out the line of fire will benefit the 29-year-old after the errors and recent off-field difficulties.
Hojlund eyed for loan
Juventus are keen to sign Manchester United ace Rasmus Hojlund on loan.
According to , Juve and Napoli are among the teams eyeing Hojlund ahead of the summer transfer window.
But it's the Bianconeri who are weighing a loan deal with an option to buy the striker.
However, the deal for the Denmark international has to be completed before the Club World Cup, which begins in two months time.
Amorim's £200 million rebuild
According to Mirror Football, United is prepared to sell up to nine players this summer in order to provide Ruben Amorim with a war chest of £200 million.
The Red Devils are willing to consider offers for Casemiro, Andre Onana, and Alejandro Garnacho, while Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia are all presently on loan and are anticipated to be sold.
Christian Eriksen is scheduled to leave when his contract expires, while Kobbie Mainoo may potentially leave due to an ongoing contract dispute.
Utd players turn on cock-up keeper
EXCLUSIVE: Fuming Manchester United stars have turned on cock-up keeper Andre Onana, writes RICHARD MORIARTY.
The “silly?Cameroon No? could be axed for today’s Prem trip to Newcastle after his two blunders gifted Lyon a 2-2 Europa League draw on Thursday.
Team-mates blame Onana for “tempting fate?by taunting the French side ahead of the quarter-final first leg.
A United insider revealed: “Some of the players are really p***ed off with him.
“You tempt fate when you say things like he did and then you end up looking silly if it comes back and bites you.
“Some wonder if it’s time for Altay Bayindir to be given a go.?/p>
United boss Ruben Amorim initially backed Onana, but admitted: “There is nothing I can say to Andre that will help.?/p>
Onana fired up Lyon by insisting the Red Devils were “way better?than their opponents.
It sparked an angry response from Lyon’s ex-United midfielder Nemanja Matic, who dubbed Onana “one of the worst keepers in United’s history.?/p>
Onana then responded to that jibe by slamming the Serb’s five trophyless seasons at Old Trafford.
The keeper has now made NINE errors leading to goals since joining United in a £43.8million move from Inter Milan two years ago.
Amorim eyeing huge transfer war chest
Ruben Amorim will be handed a £200million transfer war chest ?but only if he first flogs his Manchester United flops, writes PHIL THOMAS.
United plan a summer clear-out of almost an entire team of unwanted stars ?and the manager will be able to spend the bulk of any income.
Boss Amorim knows his kitty almost entirely depends on fees from departures and savings on wages, but Old Trafford bosses are confident the target figure is achievable.
That will mean the likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho exiting for good, along with Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and even one of young guns Kobbie Mainoo or Alejandro Garnacho.
Despite the Red Devils?shocking season, the club’s top brass are confident there remains enough interest in their out-of-favour stars to bring in a hefty amount.
Rashford, 27, has been edging towards top form since joining Aston Villa on loan, and they may well try and turn that into a permanent move.
Even if Villa boss Unai Emery decides against it, United believe the England player’s return to some sort of form has got other clubs interested, and they would sell for around £45m.
While Sancho, 25, has not been such a hit in his spell at Chelsea, a full-time switch is still on the table. United would get little more than half the £73m they paid Borussia Dortmund, but will listen to offers at that figure ?which could mean a return to the German club.
It is the same story with Brazilian Antony, who has shone on loan at Real Betis so much that the Spaniards would like to sign the 25-year-old for good.
Why Howe is missing out
A statement from the Magpies on Eddie Howe read: “He will miss Newcastle United’s Premier League game against Manchester United on Sunday due to illness.
“The Magpies?head coach was admitted to hospital late on Friday evening having felt unwell for a number of days.
“Medical staff kept Eddie in hospital overnight for further tests, which are ongoing.
“He is conscious and talking with his family, and is continuing to receive expert medical care.
“Everyone at Newcastle United extends their best wishes to Eddie for a speedy recovery, and further updates will follow in due course.
“Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones will lead the team at St. James?Park on Sunday, supported by the club’s first team staff.?/p>

Moyes has funds for forwards and is keen on the Ipswich frontrunner, who can leave Portman Road for £30million because of an escape clause.
And while the 22-year-old is on the lists of Prem big guns like Chelsea and Manchester United as a possible buy, he is top of the list of strikers wanted by Moyes.
So the Toffees are willing to be patient and wait for Delap, who has 12 Prem goals, to come within their grasp in the window as his price, age and profile is ideal.
Everton have been relying on Beto for goals, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin often injured and out of contract in the summer.
Moyes wants fresh attackers, including Liverpool winger Ben Doak, 19, and hopes the new owners will fund those moves as the club switch to their spanking new £800m stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

"He helped me with where to live and these sorts of things. But he's also been great at just approaching me at the right times, and also giving me the input that he could see I needed sometimes.

"We need [Victor] Osimhen. We need experience. We need someone who knows how to score. We need someone who can come and show these young strikers at Man United how to do it.

"You know who else I'd go and get? [Jeremie] Frimpong at right wing-back."
