PADDY PIMBLETT defeated Michael Chandler with a merciless performance, earning the greatest victory of his UFC career to date.
Liverpool's favourite "Paddy The Baddy" dominated the UFC 314 co-main event in Miami early on Sunday morning, delivering a stunning victory to propel him into the top 10 of the lightweight rankings and maybe serve as a pivotal moment in his quest for a world title.
The fight served as the main support act for the big fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes for the men's featherweight title, which Volk won to reclaim the title he had held for almost four years before losing it to Ilia Topuria.
Legendary four-time Bellator world champion Patricio Pitbull lost his eagerly anticipated UFC debut against Mexico's Yair Rodriguez.

Volkanovski was over the moon with his latest UFC win.
He said: "Oh man it's good to be back!
"The main message was that a lot of people counted me out, coming off two knockout losses and coming back to fight a gun like Diego Lopes.
"Adversity is a privilege, this moment is incredible!"
Volks' big night
Alexander 'The Great' Volkanovski reclaimed his featherweight belt with victory over Diego Lopes.

Alexander Volkanovski's return to the win column saw him break not one but TWO curses.
Volkanovski rolled back the years to reclaim the featherweight title with a decision win over Diego Lopes and put a whopping $915,600 in the bank account of Drake, who bet $545,000 on him to regain the 145lbs belt.
The "Drake curse" wasn't the only hoodoo Volkannovski did away with in Miami.
The Aussie became the first fighter aged 35 or over to win a title fight in the UFC's lighter divisions.

This spectacular performance from Paddy has strongly placed him among the top contenders in the lightweight division.
He explained to Joe Rogan that he'd like to have one more fight before he gets his title shot.
He said: "I respect Dustin [Poirier], Justin [Gaethje] and Charles [Oliveira].
"Charles is the biggest legend out of them all, and he gets called the best submission artist the UFC has ever seen.
"Well, I dispute that, I'm here."
With a big fight on the horizon for Paddy, he is one step closer to getting that title shot against current champion Islam Makhachev.
