SCOTT SINCLAIR'S opener in the Glasgow derby was overshadowed as a Rangers fan appeared to racially abuse the goalscorer.
Celtic star Sinclair fired the Hoops into a seventh-minute lead from the spot after Myles Beerman brought down Patrick Roberts.
And as he celebrated with his team-mates a man in the crowd was seen apparently making an impression of a monkey.
Sinclair is dating Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, with whom his has a young daughter.
And last week the actress was forced to respond on social media after a fake Facebook account in her name posted comments about racism.
The false post stated: “You may not support Celtic FC and that’s fine but making racist comments is not okay. Really not okay at all.
“I’m even more sensitive to them now I have my daughter who also has a darker skin tone.
“There is no need.”
It gained over 3,800 likes and attracted hundreds of comments who believed it to be from Flanagan.
But her representatives at ITV confirmed to the Scottish Sun that the account didn’t belong to the soap star.
And they said the bogus profile would be flagged to Facebook bosses.
Celtic raced into a three-goal lead at Ibrox to head towards a second Old Firm victory in two weeks.
