Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn LIVE RESULTS: Eubank Jr discharged from hospital as massive rematch mooted
CHRIS EUBANK JR has now been discharged from hospital after his generational grudge match with Conor Benn concluded in stunning scenes in one of the fights of the century.
What started hesitantly soon kicked into an all-out bloody war as Eubank Jr won by a unanimous decision - before the winner was taken to hospital.
Despite suffering a huge cut above his right eye, Eubank Jr upped the pressure on Benn in the final stages of what was an absolute classic and a rematch has already been eyed for later this year.
Eubank Jr walked down into the ring with his father, Chris Eubank Sr, who had made a shock appearance for the big main event.

Yarde vs Arthur - R8
Lovely start to the round from Arthur who puts together another good two-piece that Yarde has no answer to.
Yarde then snaps back with a strong left hand but he's struggling to land loads clean.
Arthur then offers another three-punch combo - two to the body and a short hook to the jaw - that scores well.
He again lands a good combo as Yarde really struggles to evade his punches.
Just as I type that, Yarde muscles his rival onto the ropes and lands two clean shots that would have hurt.
Arthur is comfortable on the ropes and the pair are starting to land on each other a bit more - Arthur lands a lovely left and then Yarde hits back with a right.
This is really warming up now.
Yarde vs Arthur - R7
Yarde again now abandoning that early plan to work at range and shuts the space with a high guard to get up close and personal.
The pair are shoulder to shoulder in the middle of the ring but there's very little clean work.
Referee Steve Gray then brings them in for a long word - he doesn't want them so close if they are not actually going to offer any work.
Yarde then lands a really nice shot but it's arguably his only scoring shot of the round.
Arthur again finishes strong and, for me, he's pulling ahead in this one.
Yarde vs Arthur - R6
Double jab from Arthur to start the round with both making their mark.
The ref then has a word with Arthur, but it's not that clear why.
Arthur will certainly be the happier of the two with the way this fight has gone so far.
Yarde might need to step up the pace or at least unload some combos, Arthur is reading everything he's throwing at the moment.
Yarde then manages to get on top of Arthur and has him in close and on the ropes - but he's not really getting in any clean work.
Definitely a change in tactics by Yarde but it hasn't brought any significant success in that round.
Arthur defending and evading brilliantly well.
Yarde vs Arthur - R5
It's still really cagey but you can't take your eyes off this one, especially knowing Yarde has that devastating power.
Arthur continues to use that jab well and just keeping Yarde well at bay.
Yarde hasn't really landed more than just one big shot despite all the work around the ring and with his body.
It's then Arthur who unleashes another lovely right, although it's just the single shot and he isn't able to really follow it with anything.
I'm not going to second guess the judges but I think Arthur is having the better of this.
Yarde vs Arthur - R4
Yarde starts working behind his own jab but Arthur just steps up his own pace and goes in with a three-piece.
Maybe a sign that he is settling into this fight and ready to start opening up a bit more?
Lyndon Arthur then has a little look at that giant logo on the canvas - perhaps a sign that the canvas is getting a bit slippery again.
Yarde continues to work behind twitchy feints and movements but he's not landing much clean so far.
Yarde then comes in but he leaves himself too far open and Arthur unleashes a perfect one-two counter hook just to end the round.
Lovely little combo that was.
It's tight but I'd say Arthur is edging this.
Yarde vs Arthur - R3
First big punch of the night lands for Yarde as an overhand right scores but it's to the top of the head and doesn't really do any damage.
It just reminds the Mancunian of the dynamite that Yarde has in those golden gloves he has on.
Arthur still happy to work off the jab but then fires in a nice right into the body just to mix up his attack.
This one hasn't caught fire yet but this is a really intriguing battle and you can really tell how much neither fighter wants to lose this one.
Nigel Benn's thoughts
Nigel Benn was interviewed by the Sky cameras just in between rounds and he says he's pleased that old foe Eubank Sr has turned up with his son.
You can tell he's nervous at what is a mega night for him and his son.
Yarde vs Arthur - R2
Lyndon Arthur continues to just be happy to work behind that jab.
And why not as he's having some decent success with it.
Yarde is very twitchy in there as he tries to get himself into range and work an opening - though there's not a lot of stuff being thrown from him despite all the movement.
Arthur finally throws a right hand but it only hits glove before he quickly gets back into his stance.
Yarde slightly up his activity but still nothing landing.
Really tough one to score after two rounds, Arthur probably edging it off that jab.
Yarde vs Arthur - R1
Sharp start from Arthur who lands a couple of nice jabs to keep Yarde honest.
Yarde, in black trunks, has started the more active and is quickly trying to find combos.
The man in the pink and black is just taking a bit more time and is happy to just throw his jab out.
He's not thrown a combo in that round.
Yarde is always trying to get into range and you can just tell that Arthur doesn't want to leave himself open - like he did in the first fight.
Manchester vs London
Lyndon Artur greeted by boos with Anthony Yarde certainly getting a bit more love from the crowd.
Not exactly raucous for either.
But this should be a barnburner.
Ringwalks underway
We don't have long to wait now as Lyndon Arthur heads to the ring.
Anthony Yarde is not far behind and we will be underway in this one very soon!
Backstage drama
It wouldn't be a big boxing night with just a little bit of backstage drama...
First we have the arrival of Chris Eubank Snr and now Billy Joe Saunders decides to try and enter Jr's dressing room to inspect his hand wraps.
He's denied entry and then really gets into it with a massive security guard.
"You're a nobody!" he says to the giant, who says the same back.
That would be an interesting scrap given that one is a former world champ and other has about a foot and five stone on the other.
Rubber match incoming
There's an absolutely massive fight coming up next.
Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur meet for the third time with the pair sitting at one win each against each other.
Both of these pair have fought for a world title in the last 18 months and a win would surely catapult them back into that kind of company.
It really is a big one.
Great stuff from McKenna
That was so good from Aaron McKenna, Liam Smith hasn't ever looked that bad.
But the Liverpudlian just couldn't get close to the Irishman and looked - if we're being totally honest - a bit washed.
We're yet to hear from either fighter but we'll keep an eye out if they have anything to say either to the TV cameras or elsewhere.
McKenna wins!
No surprises there, as Aaron McKenna gets a wide win on all the scorecards
A round of applause from Liam Smith as the Irishman moves on to 20-0.
Career-best performance from the Silencer and one that could really open doors at world level, great stuff.
The scorecards were:
- 119-108
- 117-109
- 118-108
From SunSport's Jack Figg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
CHRIS EUBANK SR sent Tottenham's stadium into a frenzy - by returning to his son's corner on the night of his life.
The father and son duo heartbreakingly fell out in the public eye after Jr no longer wanted Sr as the front man in his career.
And the breakdown in relationship was played out in the public eye, causing Sr to slam his boy's generational grudge match against Conor Benn - son of his arch rival Nigel.
Sr maintained he could never be in his Jr's corner, after he smashed an egg around Benn's face and refused to move up to super-middleweight.
The British boxing great even blasted his eldest as a "disgrace".
Jr was prepared to fight the biggest bout of his career alone - as all hope seemed lost.
But then, as a black car pulled up in the parking lot of Tottenham's stadium, out stepped Eubank Sr with Jr flanking just behind him.
Liam Smith and Aaron McKenna - boxing in the ring amid the carnage - got the shock of their life as the £1billion stadium went wild.
Screams of Eubank, Eubank, Eubank echoed around the 65,000-seater stadium as though the fight had already been won.
Benn - watching backstage with his dad Nigel who lost to Sr in 1990 - sized up Eubank Jr through the monitor in his dressing room.
And those cheering fans soon turned to loud boos - confirming Benn truly is the villain of his fight.
Smith vs McKenna – R12
Smith's corner: "You need to gamble... load up, bend those knees and put some mustard on your shots."
Smith comes out firing but during a close exchange McKenna throws in a VIOLENT shot to the body that CRUMPLES Smith to the canvas!
The Liverpudlian beats the count and McKenna jumps onto him and wants that KO - he needs to relax, the fight is won!
Smith is welcoming his opponent to open up as the pair exchange.
McKenna then takes a breath and realises he doesn't need the KO, he the throws a lovely 1-2 that has Smith's jaw swinging.
Smith continues to throw and lands a nice uppercut and straight left, but it's far too little, too late.
Final 30 seconds and McKenna is just dancing away from his opponent and, if anything throws more shots.
There goes the bell - this HAS to be a wide McKenna win.
Decision coming up shortly!
Smith vs McKenna – R11
Into the penultimate round now.
Smith is still game and still trying but it is not flowing and there is no rhythm in his work.
McKenna is not allowing it.
The body shots continue to land on the Liverpudlian but McKenna has also slowed or maybe he knows he has won should he avoid disaster.
Smith continues to show guts and attempts to throw but very little is landing and the few shots that do aren't hurting his opponent.
"Keep working!" is the shout from the corner but there's not much hope for him at this point.
Smith does then land probably his best punch of the fight but it doesn't really move McKenna.
Final round coming up.
Smith vs McKenna – R10
One thing we should mention is that these two haven't had any issue keeping their footing, which was definitely not the case in the fight between Viddal Riley and Chev Clark.
More of the same in round 10 as McKenna just eases through that round and Smith can't get anywhere near him.
The pace has slowed with Smith struggling to put any pressure on his rival.
He needs a KO at this point.
The Benns react
A nice clip in between rounds there as we see Conor Benn, father Nigel and trainer Tony Sims watching a TV as the Eubanks arrive.
Nothing more than a wry little smile on the face of Conor emerges, while Sims and Nigel share a laugh about it.
Smith vs McKenna – R9
McKenna continues to put in the much cleaner, better and more accurate work.
Smith can't get anywhere near him, in truth.
McKenna continues to fire out quick 1-2-3s and does good work to the body.
He's also really quick to the counter, anytime Smith throws something of his own McKenna is right there to fire back.
BUT the ref has just given McKenna another warning about using his forearm to keep Smith at bay.
Smith tries to fire in at the end of the round but it's nothing McKenna can't handle.
Another one for the Irishman.
Smith vs McKenna – R8
Into the eighth round of 12 now and it's starting to get desperate for Liam Smith.
The Liverpudlian tries to get his jab working but McKenna is too twitch and manages to jump out of the way and make him pay with some smart work on the counter.
McKenna is also happy to stand in a phonebox with Smith and trade - something the veteran has been great at over the course of his career.
But it's not worrying McKenna and he's actually getting the better of those exchanges.
He's just too quick both offensively and defensively. This could be a whitewash.
Wardley's prediction
Fabio Wardley is in the crowd and has a word with the Sky Sports cameras.
The heavyweight - who is fighting in a few weeks' time at Portman Road against Jarrell Miller - has Chris Eubank Jr beating Conor Benn.
He thinks the size advantage will become a big factor in the later rounds.
Smith vs McKenna – R7
Smith is really struggling here and just appears to be looking for that one big right hand.
Blood continues to pour out of that cut with Smith needing to wipe it away.
McKenna is looking supremely confident as he mixes up his combinations and continues to go for the body.
He's now trying to load up his shots a bit more, maybe McKenna thinks he can get Smith out of there.
Another round for McKenna.
