Gary Neville warns Jose Mourinho £60million Manchester United target Romelu Lukaku comes up short in big games
Everton will demand a huge fee to let in-form striker leave but there is one giant question mark hanging over him
GARY NEVILLE has warned Jose Mourinho that Romelu Lukaku may lack the big-game pedigree to play for Manchester United.
The Everton striker has been in lethal form this season and has caught the eye of former club Chelsea as well as the Old Trafford boss.
But Lukaku drew a blank against the Blues in last weekend's 3-0 defeat to continue a miserable record against the top six.
And Neville told Sky Sports’ podcast: "The question mark and frustration with Lukaku is does he do it in the big games?
"That won’t go away until he moves to a big club and starts delivering."

Lukaku has scored 25 goals in 36 Premier League appearances this season to get a place in the PFA Team of the Year.
Everton have tried without success to tie him down on a long-term deal.
And in a final attempt to keep the Belgium star, they will demand around £70million.
Chelsea is the most likely destination for Lukaku, who has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.
But after a poor showing at the weekend - in a game billed as an audition by SunSport columnist Ian Wright - Antonio Conte could yet look elsewhere.
