CONOR McGREGOR said he is "one proud and blessed daddy" after sharing the first picture of his new baby boy.
UFC star McGregor wrote alongside the photo: "Dee and Junior are doing great everyone!
"Thank you for all the kind words. I am one proud and blessed daddy."
McGregor's girlfriend Dee Devlin welcomed Conor Jack McGregor into the world yesterday.
Junior was born in the Coombe Maternity Hospital on Friday night weighing 8lb 14oz.
The proud new parents appeared to confirm the birth of their child by setting up its own verified Instagram account with the name 'Conor McGregor Jr'.
It already has more than 35,000 followers and the only two users followed are Conor and partner Dee.
The delighted couple have been together almost ten years.
McGregor defeated Eddie Alvarez last November at UFC 205 to win the lightweight championship but announced his break from the sport shortly after to prepare for the birth of his first child.
The Irish star is currently in on-going talks with boxer Floyd Mayweather over a potential super-fight.
But there are doubts the scrap may never actually materialise owing to talks between the camps stalling.
