CRYSTAL PALACE want to speak to Slavisa Jokanovic about becoming their new manager.
Eagles supremo Steve Parish has moved fast after Sam Allardyce’s shock resignation, putting the Fulham coach at the top of his wanted list.
Wales boss Chris Coleman, who guided the Dragons to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, is also in the frame.
But Jokanovic, 48, may be tempted by the chance of going to the Premier League after falling short at Fulham and previously quitting Watford before they kicked a ball in the top flight.
The Serb wants to work in or around London and has turned down other moves by Championship clubs outside the capital in the past few weeks.
Jokanovic would cost Palace around £3million in compensation, but Parish is willing to spend on the right man and offer him a good contract.
He could also tempt Jokanovic with a deal in the £3million-a-year range plus bonuses.
West Ham short-listed Jokanovic in the event of Slaven Bilic leaving.
But that change has now been ruled out, allowing Palace a clear run.
Coleman made 190 appearances for the Eagles between 1991 and 1995 and is regarded by fans as a hero.
Wales FA chiefs have admitted privately they are bracing themselves for an approach from Palace.
Coleman, 46, previously turned down Swansea and Hull, but has never made any secret of his desire to eventually return to club management.
