Kell Brook says his world title defence against Errol Spence Jr will be ‘the fight of the year’… but could it top Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko?
KELL BROOK has said his world title fight this weekend against Errol Spence Jnr could be "the fight of the year".
The Sheffield boxer will clash against his US rival for the IBF welterweight at Bramall Lane, the home of his beloved Sheffield United.
And Brook, whose sole defeat was at middleweight against ring king Gennady Golovkin in September, is in no doubt the challenge that lies ahead of him.

But it's one he expects to pass, and retain his world title.
Speaking at a press conference in Sheffield today (Thursday), Brook said: "This could definitely be the fight of the year, we are both as passionate for it as each other.
"But I am desperate to keep it [the world title] in the steel city.
“I just do what I do best. I’ve had a fantastic camp, I have been pushed as far as I can.
“He is a very good fighter, our styles will gel, there will be a lot of drama. We will both probably hit the canvas. There will be fireworks from round one."
Brook is moving back down to welterweight after his unsuccessful shot at Golovkin's three middleweight world titles.
But he rebuffed any notion that this could play a part in the big one come Saturday night against the supremely-talented Spence.
He added: "I got on top of the weight early, fit and healthy and will be firing on all cylinders.
"My team wanted me to move up, but there is no way I want to move up and give that title away.
"I’ve got faith in my nutritionist Greg Marriott, he never stops learning, so he has been trying to keep me happy in training camp."
Considering it's just a matter of weeks since Anthony Joshua stopped Wladimir Klitschko in the 11th round of their heavyweight world title fight, if this one even comes close tot he drama in that one, it will be quite something.
