Jockey Frankie Dettori poses with winnings after putting £500 on his beloved Arsenal to win FA Cup
FRANKIE DETTORI poses with his winnings after putting £500 on his beloved Arsenal to win FA Cup.
The three-time flat racing champion posed with the £1500 cash and his daughter Mia after the Gunners beat Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley.
About an hour into the match, the 46-year-old posed with the betting slip, showing the £500 bet and the price of 3/1 for a Gunners win.
And as the Gunners were outsiders against the reigning champions, when Arsene Wenger's team had won thanks to Aaron Ramsey's winner, Dettori must have nipped to the bookies to collect his winnings.
He happily posed again with the wad of £20 and £10 notes with the envelope reading "Come on Arsenal".
Despite being Italian, one of racing's most famous faces Dettori is an Anglophile who loves the Gunners having lived here for years.
