Cristiano Ronaldo’s new twins are ‘very well’ and are set to fly over to Madrid to meet their dad this week
Portugese ace's mum has reportedly flown to the States to meet Mateo and Eva for the first time
CRISTIANO RONALDO'S new twins are set to meet their superstar father this week.
The Portuguese ace's family grew last week as it was revealed the surrogate mother gave birth to a boy and a girl called Mateo and Eva.
The children were born on the west coast of the US and it is believed Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, flew to the States on the eve of their birth in a cryptic post on Instagram.
And according to Portuguese publication Correio da Manha, a close friend of Ronaldo's mum insists that "the babies are very well."
The report also suggests that the mother of the children is still in America and the twins will meet Ronaldo "as soon as the doctor allows it."
The babies could fly to Madrid as early as this week.
Ronaldo is already father to six-year-old Cristiano Jr who was born in 2010.
Dolores, who is a mum-of-five, was also tasked with collecting her grandson from hospital in America after his birth.
She revealed in an approved biography published in July 2014 in Portugal that she had picked the footballer’s new-born son up from a private hospital in Florida.
Meanwhile there has been increasing speculation that Ronaldo's current girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, is also pregnant with their child.
This has yet to be confirmed but she was spotted sporting what looked like a baby bump.
