Antonio Conte set to end speculation over his future and sign new contract extension at Chelsea
Italian gaffer will hold talks with chairman Roman Abramovich and is set to become the club's highest-paid manager ever
ANTONIO CONTE is set to sign a new contract at Chelsea ending speculation over his future at the club.
Rumours of a rift between the manager and players have been rife after the Italian ditched Diego Costa by text.
Conte was also thought to be frustrated with Chelsea's transfer strategy as he wants greater control over the players arriving at Stamford Bridge.
But the title-winning boss will now speak to chairman Roman Abramovich over a new contract and the report that they expect him to sign.
The 47-year-old currently has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2019 but his extension will see a hike in his wage packet to around £9.6million-a-year.
It will make him the club's highest paid manager in history following his instant Premier League success in his debut season.
