John McEnroe stuns viewers by suggesting tennis ace Novak Djokovic is struggling because of marriage woes — like love-rat golfer Tiger Woods
WIMBLEDON legend John McEnroe claimed marriage woes had hit ex-champ Novak Djokovic’s form yesterday — just like love-rat golfer Tiger Woods.
The BBC1 expert said: “The person that comes to mind with Novak is Tiger. He had issues and seemed to go off the rails.”
Three-time men’s singles winner Djokovic, 30, has been off form since the turn of the year.
Outspoken McEnroe, 58, told BBC1 the Serb had admitted “off-court issues with the family”.
He added: “That’s going to throw you. If you’re distracted, you’re not the same player.
“The person that comes to mind immediately with Novak is golfer Tiger Woods.
“He had the issues with his wife, he seemed to go completely off the rails and has never been even close to the same player.
“So we’re starting to say, ‘Wait a minute, is this possible with him?’
