Wayne Rooney and son Kai pose for an awkward selfie with McDonald’s drive-thru staff
FOOTBALLER Wayne Rooney looks like he ordered an unHappy Meal as McDonald’s staff take an awkward selfie with him.
The Man Utd star, 31, set for a move back to Everton, was at a drive-thru with son Kai, seven, in Warrington, Cheshire.
He was snapped by smiling worker Fred Reardon and his equally happy mate.
Rooney has often faced criticism from fans about his lifestyle off the pitch.
In March, The Sun revealed he guzzled five pints of lager on a night out in Chester just hours after tweeting how he was preparing for the vital Manchester derby.
And last November he was pictured slumped on a sofa and draped by two women after gatecrashing a wedding party while on England duty.
The striker is set to call time on his 13 years at Manchester United and make a stunning return to boyhood club Everton.
Work is reportedly underway on a £10million purpose-built pad just 30 miles away from the Everton's training grounds for the footballer, wife Coleen and sons Kai, 7, Klay, 4 and Kit, 1.
