Monaco offer Kylian Mbappe new mega-deal to stop striker leaving for Real Madrid in £161m deal
French club's Vice President has also had his say on the future of Arsenal target Thomas Lemar
MONACO have offered wonderkid Kylian Mbappe a new mega-contract in the hope of warding off interest from Real Madrid.
The Spanish champions have reportedly made moves in their pursuit of the 18-year-old after 'agreeing a £161million deal'.
But Monaco's vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has no intentions in cashing on a world record fee for the Frenchman.
Reported by Get French Football, Vasilyev said of Mbappe: "We have received important offers for Mbappe.
"I assure you that there is no agreement with any club.
"We are in the process of discussing a contract extension. I hope we can reach an agreement."
The talent has been linked with a host of European giants including Premier League big spenders Manchester City.
City boss Pep Guardiola refused to rule out a stunning swoop for Mbappe by revealing that "anything can happen."
Meanwhile Arsenal have been knocked back in their pursuit of winger Thomas Lemar.
The Gunners have eyed a £45m move for the 21-year-old but Vasilyez is adamant they will not sell anymore of their key players.
He added: "Fabinho and Lemar are essential players, they will stay with us."
The French champions have already cashed in on the likes of Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer.
