WESLEY SNEIJDER is set to team up with Mario Balotelli at Nice.
The Holland international is looking for a new club after having his contract mutually terminated at Galatasaray at the end of last season.
The 33-year-old has not been short of offers ahead of the new campaign including a lucrative switch to the MLS with Los Angeles FC.
Eredivisie side Utrecht, which is the midfielder's hometown club, have also registered their interest.
But according to , he will end speculation over his future by penning a contract with the Ligue 1 side.
And if he does sign on the dotted line, he will look to forge a partnership with ex-Liverpool flop Balotelli ahead of their Champions League campaign.
The maverick Italian striker has revived his career with Nice after spending last season on-loan.
He was rewarded for his 17 league goals with a new contract to extend his stay for at least for more season.
Sneijder bagged five goals with 15 assists in just 28 games for the Turkish side last season.
But he gave up a guaranteed salary of £4million for the upcoming season to buy out his contract at Galatasaray.
