Zinedine Zidane agrees new three-year Real Madrid deal to stay on as boss
Frenchman created history by winning back-to-back Champions League trophies last season.
REAL MADRID boss Zinedine Zidane has been rewarded with a new three-year deal, according to reports.
The French boss will see his salary almost double to £7.3million per year following his highly successful stint as manager after being appointed in January 2016.
Just four months later he guided Real Madrid to the Champions League title after beating fierce rivals Atletico Madrid on penalties.
Last season Real Madrid became the first side ever to defend their European crown whilst they also won the La Liga title.
His six titles in total means he is already the club's fourth most successful manager in the club's rich history.
Spanish publication AS claim that "the club is waiting for the right moment to make a public announcement" over his contract.
His new deal means he will remain at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2020.
And Zidane isn't the only member of the Real Madrid set-up to commit his future to the club.
