Conor McGregor and his ‘unusual’ boxing moves mocked by David Haye just days before mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather
CONOR MCGREGOR displayed some rather 'unusual' boxing moves in a Las Vegas open workout recently - and it's not gone unnoticed.
The UFC lightweight champion was seen waving his arms around and jumping around the ring throwing very unusual punches.
And British heavyweight David Haye this afternoon posted a video to his social media mocking the MMA fighters movements.
He told viewers that "the guys in the gym were all doing their best McGregor impressions" and how he believes "he won".
He added: "I truly hope Conor can make this fight competitive for at least a couple of rounds."
Haye hopes that McGregor can make the fight with five division champion Mayweather "entertaining" with his unorthodox style.
Haye said: "Hopefully his unorthodox MMA punching technique may confuse Mayweather for a while, but I wouldn't put my money on it.
"Let's all pray for an entertaining boxing match while it lasts."
Latest McGregor vs Mayweather News
Conor McGregor takes on Floyd Mayweather on August 26 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
SunSport had previously reported how The Notorious had stepped up his training as he gets set for his biggest challenge yet.
And obviously some are impressed with how things are going.
William Hill have once again been forced to take evasive action and have cut the price of Conor McGregor beating Floyd Mayweather from 4/1 to 7/2.
Just over 80 per cent of all bets have been for the Irishman in a fight that William Hill alone expect to turnover £10 million.
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams: “It is one way traffic for Conor McGregor, who is definitely winning the war of words as we get closer to the fight.
“If McGregor wins it will almost certainly be the worst result we have ever had, even surpassing Frankie Dettori’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ victory in 1996.”
