Barcelona to pay tribute to victims of dreadful terrorist attack by wearing unique shirts to face Real Betis
BARCELONA players won't have their names on the back of their shirts for the first league match of the season against Real Betis.
Instead the Catalan stars will have 'Barcelona' in tribute to the victims of the recent attacks on the city.
The club will also recognise what will be an emotional minute silence in remembrance of those who tragically lost their lives in the terror attack.
14 people lost their lives and 130 more were injured in the heart of Barcelona when a van plowed through crowds in the famous Las Ramblas area before another attack emerged in Cambrils.
The players will play with black armbands and will also have #TotsSomBarcelona on the chest of their shirts.
Barcelona were given permission from the Royal Spanish Football to make the changes to the home shirt.

On social media, Bartra wrote: “Where I was born, where I grew up and where I have the people I love. All my support to families. I love Barcelona. ”
The defender was caught up in another bomb blast before Dortmund's Champions League clash with Monaco in April.
Match of the Day presenter and former Barca player Gary Lineker took to Twitter by writing: "Deeply saddened to hear about the attack in the wonderful city of Barcelona.
"What purpose of this barbarity serves is beyond comprehension."
