Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo slams court for upholding his five-game ban for pushing a ref
Portugal forward put his hands on official after he was sent off in the 3-1 Super Cup win over Barcelona
CRISTIANO RONALDO has slammed a Spanish sports court for upholding his five-game ban for pushing a ref.
Ronaldo - whose first yellow came for celebrating by taking his shirt off - was suspended for one match for the red and an additional four for the shove.
But despite authorities handing him the minimum penalty, which could have risen to 12 games, the Portugal international hit out on Instagram.
He wrote: "One more incomprehensible decision. From injustice to injustice, they will never bring me down.
"And as always I will come back stronger. Thank you to all who have supported me."
Ronaldo, 32, has already served two games of his ban in the second-leg of the Super Cup and La Liga contest with Deportivo.
Los Blancos won both games comfortably in their talisman's absence.

The ex-Manchester United ace cannot play in the league until the clash with Real Betis on September 20 but can feature in Europe.
Following the suspension, team-mate Dani Carvajal, ranted: “It is an excessive sanction and a frustrating situation.
“I am not in the head of the referees but he [Ronaldo] didn’t have to be sent off.
“We are f***ed now because of that penalty, but hopefully they will reduce the amount of games he misses.”
