Manchester United to cover £118.20 visa costs for EVERY fan travelling to Russia for CSKA Moscow clash
The Red Devils did the same last season when they drew Russian outfit Rostov in the Europa League last-16 tie
MANCHESTER UNITED will pay the £118.20 cost of a Russian visa for ALL fans wanting to travel to see them take on CSKA Moscow.
The Red Devils will face the Russian side on September 27 in the Champions League Group Stage, meaning a quick turnaround for fans to get tickets and travel sorted.
And in a kind gesture, the Premier League club have offered to help out by taking care of the visa costs for the trip to Russia.
It is a repeat of last year's helping hand offered by the club when they paid the visa cost for fans wanting to travel to the same country for the last-16 Europa League clash against Rostov.
All fans have to do is get the documentation sorted at the Russian Embassy - which has a base in Manchester, and then provide the club with a receipt for the visa.
The move follows a request from the Manchester United Supporters' Trust for the club to help out the die-hard fans.
A statement on their read: It is good to see Manchester United supporting our travelling fans in Europe by covering the costs of Russian visas for the CSKA Moscow away game.
"This comes following requests from the Manchester United Supporters Trust [who] have consistently lobbied the club for greater support for our fans, both at home and away.
